1. Travel route:
1. Take the train in Changsha to high-speed railway station, Hengshan Mountain.
2. Going up the hill from the driveway next to the visitor center, Shengli Square is the first sight you see. It takes about 1 minutes to walk from here to the ticket office.
3. The ticket price in peak season is per person in 12 yuan. It seems that the price has increased? The student ID card can be discounted to everyone in 6 yuan. It seems that the check is not too strict. Everyone in 3 yuan is insured, and everyone in 45 yuan is insured for one-way sightseeing bus (including ropeway), and everyone in 8 yuan is allowed to go back and forth. After buying the ticket, we officially started climbing at 15:.
4. There are a lot of temples on the mountain. Due to the limited time, we only saw the first one: the ancestral temple in Shenzhou, where hundreds of surnames are enshrined.
5. You can choose to take such a pedestrian road or highway road along the way. The advantage of the pedestrian road is that the distance is shorter than that of the highway road (except that the Fanyin Valley is longer than the highway road at the beginning), but the disadvantage is that there are many steps and it is much more difficult to walk.
6. The Martyrs' Temple is a relatively large and important scenic spot, which is modeled after Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanjing.
7. Due to the limited time, I took a photo at the door. Later, I heard from my Guangdong donkey friend that it was quite big and worth seeing. Later, I started to climb the mountain with my Guangdong donkey friends in the Mid-Mountain Pavilion, and my fellow partners were exhausted and went up first by ropeway. It takes us 2 hours to get to Banshanting cableway from the ticket office, which seems to be much shorter than the 3 hours mentioned by netizens. However, due to physical exhaustion, it takes us 1 hour and 4 minutes to get from Banshanting to Nantianmen, and 5 minutes to get from Nantianmen to Zhurongfeng. Therefore, the total time we spend climbing the mountain is 4 hours and 3 minutes, which is 3 minutes faster than the 5 hours mentioned by netizens, but we are in most temples.
8. We rented two tents in the Heavenly King's Palace and carried them to Zhurongfeng. We regret it a little. The key is to carry them back to him. We bargained for the two tents to go to 9 yuan and collect our deposit of 21 yuan. There is a charging socket in the stone house that can be seen vaguely in the photo. The starry sky in Zhurongfeng is very beautiful. Although it is polluted by super headlights, you can still see the Milky Way clearly and take pictures.
9. The advanced toilet on Zhurongfeng can be recharged or washed here. The manager also sells instant noodles and tents, and he will help set them up, unlike having to build them himself after renting tents below. The same money is really a world of difference.
1. Watch the sunset after sunrise.
second, about transportation
the most convenient way is to take the high-speed rail.
The high-speed train from Changsha to Hengshan starts at Changsha South Station and ends at Hengshan West Station. Changsha South is very easy to reach. You can get to the subway station from anywhere in Changsha, and then take the subway directly and get off at South Station. There are many high-speed trains from Changsha South to Hengshan West. The earliest train is at 7:3, and the latest train is at 2:54, including two bullet trains at 8:59 and 13:23. The high-speed train takes 29 minutes, the second-class ticket price is 64.5, the bullet train takes 4 minutes, and the second-class ticket price is 39.5. We bought the 13:23 bullet train.
After getting off at Hengshan West Station, follow the crowd out of the station, and you will encounter many people soliciting customers. Ignore them and just go straight ahead. There is a bus stop on your right. There is a bus going directly to Nanyue archway. The fare is 5 yuan, and there is no air-conditioned car. Later, the air-conditioned car we took on our return trip charged 6 yuan. The terminal of this train is Nanyue archway, which takes about 2 minutes.
after arriving at Nanyue archway, continue to the opposite side of the archway and take the No.1 free bus to reach Nanyue Hengshan Tourist Center. Note that all buses in Nanyue District at the foot of the mountain are free and very convenient. The terminal of bus No.1 is Wanshou Square, where you can go to Wanshou Dading, and the penultimate stop is the tourist center, where you can take the sightseeing bus on the mountain. If you walk up the mountain, there is a lane not far in front of the tourist center. We didn't choose to take sightseeing bus, so we walked along the driveway for about twenty minutes to reach the ticket office and walked up the hill.
On the way back, just follow the same route. The earliest high-speed train from Hengshan West to Changsha South is at 9: 1, and the latest one is at 21:54.
III. Accommodation
There are many ways of accommodation in Hengshan Mountain. There are three general choices from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain:
The first one is to live at the foot of the mountain and then start climbing in the middle of the night. If it is a poor tour, you can choose OP Hengshan International Youth Hostel. The evaluation and social atmosphere seem to be good. Of course, if you are rich, you can choose more, or you can get up late and go up the mountain directly by car.
the second way is to live in a mid-level pavilion, and then start climbing in the early morning. The accommodation choice of Banshan Pavilion is not as good as that at the foot of the mountain, and the conditions are not satisfactory. We saw some well-rated farmhouses on the Internet, but we didn't stay because we changed our plans temporarily when climbing the mountain, so it was inconvenient to evaluate.
the third is to live at the top of the mountain, in a temple, hotel or tent. Living in a tent is the best way to experience the wild fun, but the hard ground and the pilgrims who start to climb to the top in the middle of the night will make people unable to sleep peacefully, but we still choose this way. How many famous mountains can have this rare experience?
The uniform price of the tent at the top of the mountain is RMB 5, including two sleeping bags and damp-proof mats. You will be accosted by countless tent vendors along the way, and you will refuse them in a friendly way, because there are tents rented at the top of the mountain, and the price is the same as that of the salesmen below. There is absolutely no need to resist going up the mountain after renting them. The most important thing is that you have to resist going down the mountain to return them. We rented two tents near Zhurongfeng and bargained for ¥9. Tents can be set up in Zhurongfeng or Sunwatch, where people have been climbing to the top since midnight, so it is not quiet. Don't worry that there is no light. Zhurongfeng has a super bright headlight to provide lighting, and the rest pavilion also has a charging socket, which is like nectar for a donkey friend whose mobile phone battery is exhausted.
Fourth, about diet
I didn't eat any delicious food all the way, which is the disadvantage of living at the top of the mountain. There is a super luxurious toilet not far from Zhurongfeng. The toilet manager is very nice. You can go there to buy instant noodles or rent tents. The unified price for a bowl of instant noodles is RMB 1. Whether you can talk about the price depends on your fate. There is a hotel not far above the sun viewing platform, which also provides catering. There are all kinds of rice noodles, noodles and fried rice. We ordered fried rice here at 5: in the morning, which is a little expensive, but it is still more delicious than instant noodles.
It is suggested that we can buy some energy-supplementing drinks and food at the foot of the mountain. We were almost hungry when we climbed the mountain halfway, and there was no place to eat. Fortunately, we were able to climb to the top of the mountain by meeting chocolate and potato chips that we shared with the hikers.
