The map I bought on my last trip abroad is out of date and used as waste paper. You can also use waste newspapers, books, wrapping paper, etc.
Methods/steps
First, I cut the waste map into many sizes of hearts.
All the waste paper is cut into hearts. When a map is used up, I will find paper from the back issue of the magazine to continue the room. The size of the heart can be arbitrary, but there must be at least two hearts of any size, and they must appear in pairs.
Fold two pieces of cut heart-shaped waste paper with the same size and shape together, sew them together with the center line on the sewing machine, and then fold the two hearts in opposite directions to obtain a three-dimensional heart-shaped assembly.
After sewing, pull the thread about 5 cm from the sewing machine and continue sewing the second pair of heart-shaped patterns until it reaches the height of the curtain or door curtain.
In this way, a pile of waste paper becomes many long heart-shaped door curtains and curtains, and the only thing left is to hang them on the doors and windows of that house.
The waste paper used should be cardboard or hard material wrapping paper. Ordinary printed paper or newspaper is too thin to keep the shape of the heart after folding, and it is easy to deform in use.
If we can use fishing thread instead of ordinary embroidery thread, the curtains will be more durable. Because I am in a hurry to write my experience, I only have ordinary thread demonstration on the sewing machine first.
Because curtains and door curtains are made of paper, don't hang them outdoors and don't get them wet. We produce waste paper every day. It is no exaggeration to say that if there is no reasonable way to deal with waste paper, we will be buried by a piece of waste paper we have produced. Nowadays, there are many ways to make handicrafts from waste paper, among which the difficulty is different, and not everyone has time to make some complicated handicrafts. 1. First, make a paper bag or find a ready-made paper bag and cut off the V-shaped feathers in front with a paper cutter. Cut off the back and sides of the bag by about 4 inches, leaving a long part in the front for the bag to open from the back.
2. Open the bottom, fold the bottom edge of the bag inward, wrap the gift with tissue paper and put it inside.
3. Take out another bag, pull out the bottom and sides and cut them off, so that a pair of wings appear. Adjust the shape of the wings and stick them on the side of this handmade owl.
4. Use translucent paper or fragile plastic bags to make creative owl eyes. To make an eye, you need to fold two circles into six equal parts, cut them from the side to the middle, but not from the middle, and then stick them together from the middle. Black round labels and some colored scraps are used to make other parts of the eyes. The owl's beak should be divided into six parts, and the top of the triangle should be round. Glue the back of the paper into a cone.
5. The front of the bag is folded into a triangle, and then the owl's face is formed in the front. You can put a paper clip on it to prevent the bag from opening. In the front of the bag, these are all under the hem. Stick your eyes to the edge of the hem and stick your mouth to the front.
