First of all, I can proudly tell you that in most cases, we do not eat. Of course, our major is a major in eating, so we can still eat freshly baked food in some operation classes. Food, after all, is still a minority. So, now let me take you through the daily life of our food major:
1 What are the college courses? What to eat?
You can only eat food in your junior year of high school. Don’t think that in our major, we eat every day. When we get to university, during our freshman and sophomore years, we spend most of our time studying theoretical courses including public *** Basic courses, such as advanced mathematics, linear algebra, college physics, college chemistry, etc., professional basic courses, such as food chemistry, food nutrition, food analysis and testing, etc., and professional courses, such as food design, food engineering, instrument analysis, etc. Well, the first two years were basically pure theory and boring. In addition to exams, the final was all about essay writing, which basically had nothing to do with eating.
The sophomore and junior years are a paradise for eating. It is very common to eat food made by one’s own hands in experimental classes. Of course, there are also things like dissecting mice. You can also eat while dissecting, as long as You don't vomit.
2 Are you still willing to eat after studying?
Many people ask me, do you eat it every day in your major? In fact, I want to say that after studying this major, you are most reluctant to eat it. After studying this major, you will develop a habit of looking at the ingredients. I have a habit of always looking at the ingredients on the packaging no matter what I buy. I think to myself, this is a chemical ingredient and I can’t eat it, and that ingredient can’t be eaten. Over time, I won’t want to eat it.
3 A big sacrifice
Everyone thinks that we can eat a lot of things, all kinds of food, but we don’t know that we have also made huge sacrifices. We have to eat whatever we can’t eat. I thought it was necessary for experiments, and sometimes I would try all kinds of wines during winemaking classes, including red, yellow, black, blue, all kinds of wines. It would be a big sacrifice for someone like me who doesn’t drink.
To sum up, each major has its own characteristics. If you like eating and drinking, you might as well take up the challenge.
