After the banquet, there was room to go back to the palace to handle affairs, so the rain book was written wrong. It should have been five points for the rain outside the city and three points for the rain inside the city, but the Jade Emperor wrote it backwards. Knowing the reason, Qinglong sneaked into the Heavenly Palace and changed the rain book, so that the world slowly recovered its true colors. When the Jade Emperor woke up, he also found that he had written a wrong rain book, but he wanted to correct it, but he was afraid that the etiquette would say that he was not careful, so he had to make a mistake. Later, when the Jade Emperor found that his rain book had been changed, he was furious and sent the Prime Minister to earth to kill Qinglong. The Prime Minister did so. After being killed by the Prime Minister, Qinglong became a divine bird, and cried out outside the Jade Emperor's Hall. The Jade Emperor felt ashamed, so he wrote a book asking the Yellow Emperor to send an order to the people to commemorate Qinglong, who had saved the people. Every Spring Festival, people beat gongs and drums, play with dragons and lions for several years, and celebrate the Lantern Festival.

The custom of Lantern Festival is to eat glutinous rice balls to make every family round, so tonight my mother "delegated power" and entrusted me with the important task of cooking glutinous rice balls. I regard it as a very important task, for fear of boiling it, so my heart seems to be pounding with a little rabbit in my arms. I used to watch my mother cook dumplings. I first boiled the water and put the dumplings in carefully. I waited anxiously, waiting. White fat dumplings surfaced, watching them swell one by one, and I shouted happily, "The dumplings are coming out of the pot." I'm glad that the dumplings are not boiled. Everyone happily tasted the dumplings I cooked, and the "gourmet" mother gave me a hundred points, praising me for growing up and being sensible. I was so excited that I got such a high evaluation when I cooked glutinous rice balls for the first time, and my heart was full of joy.

at about seven o'clock in the evening, my family went downstairs together to set off fireworks. I happened to meet my good friend Liu Yifan, and we went to set off fireworks together. Because the Lantern Festival is Monday, my parents took me to Shuijie to see the lanterns in advance. The theme of this lantern festival is "Prosperous China, Harmonious Yancheng".

at 7 o'clock in the evening, we took a taxi to the vicinity of Shuijie, which was crowded with people. Before we reached the platform of Shuijie, the traffic police wouldn't drive forward, so we had to get off and walk. It took me a long way to get to the ticket office. At first glance, I was blindsided. There were five or six long queues waiting to buy tickets. Fortunately, my father was clever enough to divide three times by five and got three tickets. I hugged my father's face excitedly and kissed him again.

when I entered the water street, I felt like I was in a sea of lights. There were joyful lanterns and colored lights everywhere in the water street, which made people feel the lively atmosphere of the Lantern Festival in advance. At first, we saw a group of lanterns representing various scenic spots in Yancheng-red-crowned cranes and elk. As we walked on, we saw a group of dragon and phoenix lanterns. With the flow of people, we came to a group of Huai Opera lanterns representing local operas. Looking at the lifelike characters in Huai Opera lanterns, we immediately have a responsibility to protect intangible cultural heritage. In this way, as we walked and watched, we wandered in the bright lights, and unconsciously we drove to the last group of lights: this group of lights vividly described the scene of our Yancheng people drying and selling salt in the past, and I immediately felt extremely proud of having such hardworking and brave ancestors. Dad said: "Now that our material living standards have improved, people are also pursuing a higher spiritual and civilized life."

Although I didn't eat Lantern Festival tonight, I have already passed the Lantern Festival ahead of schedule.
