Materials
Four, yeast powder
Method
1. Put a small amount of warm water in the basin and pour in yeast (1Kg flour 10g amount of yeast). 2. After the yeast is dissolved, add flour and mix with water until the dough is smooth. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave it at room temperature. 3. When the dough has risen to approximately 2 times its original size, place it on the surface and knead it to make steamed buns. 4. After leaving the prepared steamed buns for 30 minutes, place them in a basket with boiled hot water and steam them for 25-30 minutes (fist-sized steamed buns, larger ones will take longer), and the fragrant steamed buns will be ready!
Tips
1. Mix the noodles with warm water and the noodles will rise faster. 2. After the steamed buns are made, be sure to leave them for half an hour before steaming them in the pot, so that the steamed buns will rise well and be full of elasticity! 3. Determine whether the steamed buns are cooked or not: Lift the lid of the pot and press the buns gently with your fingers. If they can spring up, they are cooked. If they cannot spring up, they need to be steamed for a while; but do not lift the pot frequently. If you feel that they are almost cooked, then steam them again. Lift the pot and take a look. 4. It is best not to heat the steamed buns in the microwave. The steamed buns heated in a steamer are as delicious as freshly made. If you must use the microwave, rinse the steamed buns with water first and then reheat them to avoid serious water loss.
