Hong Chu Road is located on the east side of Seoul Ruins in the northern suburb of Xi, starting from Huo Xing Road and connecting with Airport Expressway in the north, with a total length of 7 kilometers. Because before the high-speed construction of the airport, this road only reached Baocun, Hong Chu, Hancheng Town, so it was called Hong Chu Road. At that time, it turned eastward from Hong Chu Fort along the present Fengcheng No.7 Road to Zhangjiabao with a big garden curve, and then connected to the then Xitong Expressway, which was already the main passage for Xi 'an's northward import and export.

In 2009, before the Xi Xianyang Airport Expressway was completed, Hong Chu Road was expanded as the main docking passage of the airport expressway. Hong Chu Baocun was originally located in the east of Hong Chu Road and west of Mingguang Road. Between Fengcheng Sixth Road and Fengcheng Seventh Road. In 2009, after the reconstruction of the village in Baocun, Hong Chu, the Hong Chu Fort community was placed in the southeast corner of the intersection of Fengcheng No.8 Road and Hong Chu Road, and was subordinate to Seoul Sub-district Office.

The northern suburb of Xi 'an is located in the east of Chang 'an ruins in Han Dynasty. In order to inherit the distinctive cultural elements of the Western Han Dynasty, regional streets are named after historical keywords of the Western Han Dynasty. Weiyang Road and Mingguang Road were taken from Weiyang Palace and Mingguang Palace in Chang 'an City in Han Dynasty. The road of Wenjing is taken from the "governance of Wenjing" that appeared in the period of Emperor Wen and Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty.
