1. One-day trip around Nha Trang

The cashew nuts in the shell must be worth buying. Or dried jackfruit, banana, taro, mung bean cake, durian, mango! The local specialty coffee is also very good! Nha Trang is located at the easternmost point of the southern coastline of Vietnam. It has endless beaches, soft white sand, flat tide and clear water, and various corals on the seabed. The colorful fish following the divers are enough for underwater adventurers to appreciate. Nha Trang is an ideal destination for seaside tourism. The waters near Nha Trang are Vietnam’s famous fishing grounds. More than 200 species of Nha Trang rare fish are stocked in Zhiyuan Lake on Zhiyuan Island, more than 1 km away from Nha Trang Port.

2. Things to note when traveling to Nha Trang

Of course, if you want to swim, there are suitable beaches in many places.

3. Attractions in Nha Trang

Nha Trang is the most popular tourist destination in Vietnam among Chinese tourists recently. Thousands of people visit here every year. Nha Trang has many specialties and local restaurants, but due to language problems and information asymmetry, many tourists from China are often deceived by various beautiful high-end online celebrity restaurants and shopping spots, and their experience is greatly reduced. Nha Trang is the most commercial place in Vietnam and the most convenient tourist destination. There are Chinese menus everywhere and Vietnamese businessmen who can speak Chinese everywhere, but such convenience often brings many deception traps. Many restaurants are not only expensive but also taste average. To this end, I visited all the local restaurants near Nha Trang tourist area, collected various local favorites, and recommended 10 local delicacies worth trying.

BanhCanZhanpo Vietnamese pancake (30,000 VND)

This food was brought from the Cham people a long time ago, and people have continued to improve it. Very popular in south-central Vietnam. The tools used to make this dish are also very Vietnamese. It is a special mold with many holes, and a porcelain plate of the same size is placed in each hole. You can start this dish by heating it over fire. This kind of pancake is usually brushed with scallion oil and egg white on the plate, and then various meats are put in, such as seafood, chicken, beef, pork, etc. The side dish was green mango, followed by fish sauce. This delicacy is a bit bland for new Chinese tourists, but be sure to add green mango or a little chili when eating it. Because they don’t use BanhCan without any seasoning, the sweet and sour taste of green mango and pancake will give you a fresh taste, which is completely different from Chinese food.

Ban Xia Nha Trang

Haxeo was originally an authentic delicacy in central Vietnam, especially in Hoi An, Da Nang. The people of Phan Lang in south-central Vietnam have creatively transformed this food into mini pancakes. Then it became popular in Nha Trang. This kind of pancake is similar to the normal method, which is glutinous rice flour and turmeric powder, and then bean sprouts and shrimp or pork and green onions are baked in a small porcelain plate. Fish sauce is usually added when eating it. If you go to Nha Trang, I recommend buying one or two to try. This food is very authentic to Vietnam. When eating, take your time to appreciate the crispiness of the rice cakes and the fresh aroma of the bean sprouts and shrimps.

Egg Coffee

Coffee is called caftrung in Vietnamese. Founder Nguyen VanGiang invented this coffee in 1946 while he was a bartender at the Sofitel Legend Metropole, the most famous hotel in Vietnam. Because there was a shortage of milk at the time, he made such coffee using eggs and coffee. It's hard to find coffee like this in Nha Trang, almost no coffee shops make it. I stumbled upon the egg coffee at this coffee shop that mainly sells fruit drinks and it tasted great. This store is very close to the city, just over 10 minutes' walk. The environment in the store is also very good, and the service attitude is also very good. Of course, if you like fruit fishing, this is also a good choice.

BoKho Beef Stew and Baguette

BoKho is a famous delicacy in all major cities in Vietnam. The fresh beef stew soup and crispy baguette are perfect. I discovered this delicious treat in a very nice coffee shop in Nha Trang. Don't miss it on your Nha Trang trip.

Duck glutinous rice

The food comes from a well-known roast duck restaurant, the most famous of which is duck glutinous rice and duck noodles. Duck sticky rice is roasted duck meat with sticky rice, grilled onion slices and some mung bean flour. When you eat it, remember to add some fish sauce to make it more delicious. The duck noodles are also very fresh duck meat and taste good. Many locals come here to eat every day. The store is not big, but it has been in business for many years. The store doesn't open until 4pm, so if you want to come, you can only come during dinner time.

Vegetarian Bibimbap

BanhMi, also known as Vietnamese baguette, is familiar to many tourists, but this kind of vegetarian baguette is rare in Nha Trang. And this vegetarian baguette tastes so delicious. The hostess is a very friendly vendor and the shop is like a pushcart on the street. The location is very good, in the city center. The address in the map state is not allowed, but you need to search slowly to see her. Chay means vegetarian in Vietnamese. The variety of fresh vegetables, tofu cubes, and cheese in the vegetarian baguette will make you feel great and completely different from the baguette style.

Street seafood

When it comes to seafood, many people go to the seafood street in Nha Trang. In fact, many restaurants in that area are not cheap, and there are also many people killing customers. Good street seafood shops can be found in the city center, and there are also many small shops that only locals can go to, which are really cheap and delicious.

I was walking around the city streets for a few days and stumbled upon this street store. This store has been open for several years, and most of the customers are locals. A lot of seafood costs 30,000 to 60,000 VND per plate, and the big lobster costs more than 101,000, which is half cheaper than what is sold outside. And the method is excellent, full of spiciness.

Guangnan Restaurant’s Stir-fried Fat Sausage

This Guangnan restaurant not far from the city center really surprised me. The restaurant is occupied by a simple and honest woman and her mother from Guangnan. But the food she cooks is very delicious! Especially the taste of fried fat sausage is very in line with the taste of Chinese people. It's not greasy, soft and chewy, and it's even more delicious with fish sauce. Another dish was grilled fish cakes and rice noodles which is very authentic Vietnamese Cantonese food. There is also delicious lotus seed water (suahatsen) in the restaurant. Just show the boss my photo when ordering.

Vietnamese tea and desserts

Vietnamese people also love to drink tea, especially Nha Trang, which is very close to Dalat. Dalat is the most famous tea producing area in Vietnam. This dessert comes from a coffee shop. Chinese tea with Western desserts. Just like other Vietnamese dishes, it's a perfect blend of Eastern and Western cuisine.

Roast Chicken

This downtown chicken restaurant only serves chicken. There is grilled chicken and chicken wings, as well as delicious fried rice and delicious fish sauce. You can I can't help but eat it. The store is very clean. Chicken is sold by half and whole chickens. Half of it is worth 150,000 VND for two people, so it’s a good deal. The roast chicken here is the best I have ever eaten in Nha Trang. The roasted chicken here is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and tastes great.

Go to Halong Bay.

Speaking of Vietnam, there is a famous tourist destination with beautiful scenery. Halong Bay is known as Guilin on the Sea, and many people must have heard of it. Everyone knows that Guilin’s landscapes are among the best in the world, and Halong Bay is also a karst landform. Halong Bay is located in the western part of the Gulf of Tonkin in Vietnam, bordering Guangxi. The natural scenery here is very similar to Guilin, Guangxi. There are many islands, boats are cruising on the water, and the scenery is picturesque and worth a visit. So, it’s not Vietnam until Ha Long Bay.

5. One-day tourist attractions around Nha Trang

I have been a diving instructor in Nha Trang for 5 years. First of all, let me explain that tourists in Nha Trang basically go to 4 islands for diving. When they were taken to other places by tour operators, they certainly couldn't see those coral reefs. Even if he said it was diving on Black Island, you wouldn’t know it, or they would take you to the group diving spot on Black Island, right next to the group diving spot on the shore.

There is no martial arts here,
