Fengcheng City is affiliated to Dandong City, Liaoning Province.
Fengcheng City is located in the east of Liaoning, on the north bank of the Yellow Sea, bordering Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County to the east, Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County to the west, Zhenan District and Donggang City of Dandong City to the south, and Benxi Manchu Autonomous County and Liaoyang County to the north.
It has a strong industrial foundation and was a national Class A county in the 1950s. The country's first normal-pressure hot water boiler and the national automobile supercharger standard were both produced in Fengcheng.
