Jianshui Ancient City, a national historical and cultural city, was built in the Tang Dynasty for more than a thousand years.
There are more than fifty ancient buildings in the city. Every brick and tile in the ancient city carries a rich history.
Jianshui also has special traditional food, and has been filmed in "A Bite of China" and "Twelve Taste of Feng".
Regarding transportation and routes, Jianshui is one of the counties under the jurisdiction of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province.
As early as the Tang Dynasty, Jianshui was an important transportation artery of the Southern Silk Road.
The geographical location is moderate, 220 kilometers away from the provincial capital Kunming, 250 kilometers away from the border port estuary, and 80 kilometers away from Mengzi Airport.
Generally speaking, the transportation in Jianshui is relatively convenient.
There is a direct train from Kunming to Jianshui, which is very convenient. There are 4 trains every day, from 7 am to 4 pm, the time is more suitable.
Train tickets are cheap, 29.5 per ticket, and it takes about 2 hours and 40 minutes to reach Jianshui.
Fat friends who go directly from Kunming to Jianshui can buy train tickets in advance to facilitate travel.
I started from Kaiyuan, which is right next door to Jianshui. It’s not too far away, so I took the bus directly to Jianshui at the Bus Terminal (South Bus Terminal), and it cost 26 yuan for a one-way ticket.
In fact, my transportation choice is not of high reference value. I think most of them should go directly from Kunming.
Jianshui Food 1. Guoqiaoyuan Rice Noodles: Affordable, authentic in taste, and generous in portion. For those with small appetites, one serving for two is recommended.
I have been here so many times and this time I finally tasted authentic rice noodles in the birthplace of rice noodles. The various side dishes that accompany the rice noodles are also the finishing touch. Shredded radish is my favorite.
2. Lin'an Hotel: This is a time-honored state-owned restaurant on Lin'an Road. It serves rice noodles all day long, as well as steamed rice noodles for breakfast. The steam pot chicken is very popular at noon and evening. The quantity of steam pot chicken is limited. The rice dishes only have stir-fried vegetables. If you are slow, you can use the steam pot.
The chicken is the most authentic. It is highly recommended to eat it even if you wait in line. It is so delicious that you can walk on the wall.
3. Zeng Kee Tofu Fang: A filming location in China on the tip of the tongue.
Located opposite Dabanjing outside the west gate (first there is Dabanjing, and then Lin'an City), you can watch the tofu making process. You can eat fresh soy milk and tofu curd in the store for 5 yuan per person.
You can also buy bean curd, tempeh, and dried tofu. 4. Garden snack Changwang Rice Noodles: Next to the Zhujia Garden, friends who like fat intestines can try it. It is the first bite for people like me who are trying fat intestine rice noodles for the first time.
My taste buds couldn't stand it anymore, so the boss ordered another bowl.
Snack shops: 1. Old spoon noodle shop: Lin'an Road, China on the tip of the tongue, grilled tofu, cold rice noodles, spoon noodles, etc. 2. Papaya old shop: Lin'an Road, desserts, papaya water, purple rice dew, tofu, rolled noodles, etc.

The shooting location of Erdaofengwei, Shuyuan Street 3. Ziyang BBQ: outside the city, a taxi within 10 yuan. Regarding accommodation, we recommend Honghe Guanfang Hotel.
It deserves to be called a big hotel. The rooms are really big and have central air conditioning.
This is Yunnan in winter - very! Important! Important! The location of the hotel is really good, right in the center of Mengzi, with Nanhu Lake outside the window. The sunset in the evening and the morning glow are both beautiful.
