Sai Ying Pun, located in a residential area in the west of Hong Kong Island, is one of the earliest developed areas in Hong Kong. Geographically, Pan Xiying belongs to the central and western regions. From Hatton Road in lung fu shan country park, you can see Sai Ying Pun and West Kowloon on the other side, and you can vaguely see Central Road, especially the second phase of the International Finance Center. The left and right slopes belong to Longhu Mountain and Taiping Mountain respectively.

Sai Ying Pun is located in the west of Sheung Wan, east of shek tong tsui, north of Wen Xian Road and south of Victoria Harbour, that is, the "camp" from Jia 'an Street to Weimar Street in Sai Ying Pun, that is, the military camp. There are two legends about whose camp it refers to: the first is the base of the pirate Zhang Baozai, and the second is the camp of the British army, because the British army is stationed there. 184 1 year, after the British army landed at Shuikengkou, a military camp was established on the hillside of Jinshui Street, and 800 Indian soldiers were stationed.

Sai Ying Pun has a long history. After the opening of Hong Kong, the British developed Victoria City, and its western end became a place where China people lived together. There are many shops selling seafood and Chinese herbal medicines, which have developed to this day. 185 1 year, because of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, a large number of China refugees poured in. In order to resettle these refugees, the then British Hong Kong government developed the Sai Ying Pun area, starting from the west of Queen's Road, which was originally east-west, and going up the mountain for development, and delineated the first street, the second street, the third street and the high street (formerly known as the fourth street). The east and west sides of the residential area are bounded by East Street and West Street respectively, and Zheng Jie (formerly known as Zhongzheng Street) is the center of the residential area. As a result, a "network" street planning was formed.
