Introduction to the park
Wulongtan, known as the "Little West Lake in Nanjing", is located at the foot of Liang Qingshan in Gulou District, Nanjing, with the north gate facing Guangzhou Road and the west gate facing Huju Road. During the Three Kingdoms period, Wulongtan was named Qingshui Datang and Furong Pool. According to legend, there were four springs in the pool during the Jin Dynasty, which gushed all the year round. Wulongtan has beautiful scenery, pavilions and sparse flowers and trees, and is known as the "crown of the West City". There are cultures everywhere in Wulongtan Park, such as the sculpture of a Dream of Red Mansions, the statue of Cao Xueqin, and the Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall scattered among lawns. In addition, there are Miaoxiang Pavilion, Lenghua Hall, Wisdom Fofo Agbo Zhai, Feiyue Pavilion, Fangsheng Temple, Suolong Bridge and Wuhou Temple. In addition, there is a 400-year-old "Qinggui" and "China Chess Bridge" in the park.
