Glaced peanuts
Ingredients used: half a catty of peanuts, one bag of salt, 5 spoons of sugar, 4 spoons of starch
Step 1: Rinse the peanuts with water. Control the water, first pour half the bag of salt into the iron pot, pour the peanuts on the salt, and then pour half the bag of salt to cover the peanuts.
Step 2: Turn on medium to low heat and start heating. Stir a few times from time to time to let it heat evenly. It will take about 6-10 minutes. If you hear a few peanuts exploding, you can remove the peanuts. When it comes out, you can save the salt for next time.
Step 3: Take another pot, add 5 tablespoons of water, then add 5 tablespoons of sugar, and bring to a boil over medium-low heat.
Step 4: Pour the salted peanuts into the pot and stir-fry constantly.
Step 5: Stir-fry until the water is completely dried out and the sugar is coated on the peanuts. Add 4 tablespoons of cornstarch and continue to stir-fry until the peanuts are covered with starch and the skin is firm. In this way, a "salt-baked" frosted peanut is ready.
