According to a statement from Wildlife Reserves Singapore, the panda conservation team weighed the one-month-old cub for the first time yesterday morning while giant panda mother Jiajia was having breakfast in the delivery room at River Safari.

When a giant panda baby is born, it is estimated to weigh about 200 grams.

Wildlife Reserves Singapore said the cub reached a healthy weight of 1.5kg in 33 days, indicating that Jiajia has good maternal instincts.
