"Shaoxing's No. 1 Rafting" - Yanxi Rafting Scenic Area is located in Shijia'ao Village, Ganlin Town, Shengzhou City, and was officially opened to the public on May 1.

Yan River is the mother river of Shengzhou with a long history. As early as the Tang Dynasty, many literati and poets came to visit Shan and left many famous poems and lines, forming a prosperous Tang poetry road.

Li Bai once wrote: "The moon in the lake shines on my shadow and sends me to the Yan River", "The color of bamboo is green under the stream, and the lotus is fragrant in the mirror."

Shijia'ao is also the birthplace of Chinese women's Yue Opera. It still retains the ancient stage where famous Yue opera actors learned their skills.

Feeling the green mountains and beautiful waters of Shengzhou and listening to the authentic Shengzhou Yue Opera are one of the highlights of this scenic spot.

The entire rafting journey is about 3.5 kilometers. Visitors can not only enjoy the beautiful pastoral scenery on both sides of the Shan River, but also interact with farmers singing Yue opera duets on the banks.

The scenic area is equipped with Chaiyu Farm with farm-style dishes, a self-service barbecue area and Happy Valley for children to play.

It is a good place for tourists to travel during holidays and experience the rural style.
