I gained 30 pounds in a year, from 100 to 130. I used to have the kind of physique that I could not gain weight by eating, but then I gained weight straight away when I came to Guangzhou. It may also be related to the heavy humidity in Guangdong.
After gaining weight, I just controlled my eating habits and stopped staying up late and overeating. I still ate delicious food when I should. I just increased my exercise by 2 hours a day. I used to eat 2 meals a day now. I ate 4 meals because I would feel hungry if I didn’t eat after exercising.
Now I have lost 106 pounds and can eat more kinds of delicious food 4 times a day.
Food and body do not have to be sacrificed at the same time. If possible, with reasonable arrangements, you can have both.
