Yunshe Village is about 40 minutes' drive from our Tongren Wanshan Holiday Hotel. This village is located in the Taiping River Scenic Area at the foot of Fanjing Mountain. It is a Tujia village in jiangkou county, Tongren, and the first batch of traditional China villages in China. It is said that this village used to be the place where immortals lived. It is surrounded by mountains and waters, with beautiful scenery, no noise and no pollution, just like a paradise.
Yunshe village has the reputation of "the first Tujia village in the world". This is an ancient village where Tujia people live. The name of Yunshe Village comes from Tujia language, which means "the place where monkeys drink water". Monkeys like drinking water. The village lies in the valley. There is Longtan in the village and Taiping River outside the village. Two rivers run through the village. The bluestone alleys in the village connect the whole village, showing a patchwork distribution.
As soon as I entered the village that day, I was attracted by the ducks and geese in the river, especially the big white goose. These little guys swam happily in the river, dived into the water one by one, then surfaced to clean their feathers and played very hard.
Yunshe Village has a history of 600-700 years. The indigenous paper-making technology here is listed as intangible cultural heritage, and the place to make paper is under the shed under the thatched house by the river.
Shenlongtan is located in the village, which is the source of life for villagers to drink water and irrigate farmland. Interestingly, Shenlongtan also has a special function, which can predict the weather by the fluctuation of water level. It will definitely rain when the pool rises, but it will clear up when the pool recedes. It's really amazing.
There are many old houses in the village, some of which look like dangerous houses. Because time is limited, we haven't found the Tujia fighting house in the village.
Roaring spring is about 30 meters to the left of Shenlongtan. It is said that the spring is controlled by sound. If you want to use water, just shout "water" and the spring will come out at once. After use, the water will go back by itself immediately. ......
The locals enjoy the cool by the water. They put a lot of watermelons and drinks in the water. I wash my hands by the water, and the river is cold and even biting. It is much better to put drinks and watermelons in water than in the refrigerator.
