Fuzhou Youth Club mainly refers to the former Fuzhou landmark building located at the head of Jiefang Bridge. The building was planned and built by Huang Naishang, a patriotic overseas Chinese leader from the Qing Dynasty in Fujian.

In 1910, after Huang Naishang, a 62-year-old patriotic overseas Chinese leader from Fujian, took over as the president of the Fuzhou YMCA, in order to provide the members of the YMCA with a fixed activity center and facilitate contact with people from all walks of life, he founded the Fuzhou Youth Christian Association in Cangzhou in 1912. Xiazhou is preparing to build a new clubhouse. Huang Naishang raised more than 50,000 yuan, US President Theodore Roosevelt donated 120,000 US dollars, and funds raised by the United States Christian Methodist Church, the American Christian Congregational Church, the British Episcopal Church, etc. were used to build the YMCA. . The main building of the club is located in Cangxiazhou, Taijiang, with a construction area of ??8156.4 square meters and was built in 1916. The building is adjacent to the Wanshou Bridge on the Minjiang River (i.e. Jiefang Bridge). It is large in scale and extraordinary in style. It was once the earliest and largest comprehensive building in Fuzhou in modern times. The entire building is made of red bricks, with three floors in the front building and four floors in the back building, separated by a patio in the middle. The floors are all made of high-quality nanmu. The building houses the only indoor lighted basketball and volleyball court in Fuzhou at that time. The first silent film in Fuzhou was screened here. The famous writer Yu Dafu claimed to be "originally from Fujian". He visited Fuzhou three times and lived in a riverside house on the fourth floor of the YMCA for five or six months. He mentioned the YMCA many times in his works.

The former site of the Fuzhou Youth Association, which was once a landmark building in Fuzhou and has a history of nearly a century, was included in the 2008 key commercial projects in Taijiang District, Fuzhou City. It will retain its architectural style of the early 20th century, restore its function as a leisure and entertainment club, and become a one-stop consumption center integrating catering, entertainment, commerce, and leisure, similar to the style of "Shanghai Xintiandi" and "Beijing 798" New era cultural and creative club.
