1. Introduction

Qufu Normal University was founded in Jinan in 1955, and was originally called Shandong Teachers College. In May 1956, it was upgraded to Qufu Teachers College with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and moved to Qufu in September of the same year, which started the course of setting up undergraduate education. From September 197 to April 1974, it merged with the liberal arts of Shandong University to form the new Shandong University. In April 1974, the establishment of Qufu Teachers College was resumed. In 1981, it was established as one of the six key universities by Shandong Provincial People's Government. In the same year, it was approved as the first batch of universities in China to recruit graduate students. In 1982, he was granted a master's degree. In November 1985, the school was renamed Qufu Normal University. In 22, Rizhao Campus was built. In 23, he was granted the right to confer a doctorate.
