Yangzhong is located in the middle of the Yangtze River on the east side of Lieshan, Dantu District, Zhenjiang City, and belongs to Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. Yangzhong is a county-level city that is a member of Nanjing Metropolitan Area. It faces Yangzhou and Taizhou across the river to the north and Zhenjiang and Changzhou to the south.
