Is there any solution?
I am a lecturer of the Photography Reading Club?, and the number of words to answer your question is too long. Please read it patiently and hope it can be adopted!
Let’s first think about these questions: 1. Why? The first question when learning photography is why we should learn photography. Is photography an interest or a professional requirement? If our original intention is not clear, we will not be able to better grasp the direction of learning.
.
1. Interest If you are interested, I suggest that you should focus on your own work and study photography as a supplement. It is best to use photography to help our work.
For example, a food up owner learns food photography to make the food more attractive; for example, a Taobao seller learns still life photography to make the products more comfortable to look at; through the combination of interest and work, we are more motivated to learn photography. In this case
What we consider is to reduce equipment costs, learn as much technology as possible, and obtain maximum output at less cost.
2. Occupation If we study photography because of our own profession, or we are a photographer ourselves, what should we do?
In this case, we need to systematically and comprehensively study photography, understand basic composition, color, light and shadow, as well as advanced techniques and photography equipment, such as the use of flash, to make up for the weak basic links and ensure that we are getting better and better on the road of photography.
Far.
In addition, for professional photographers, we must seize every minute and every second, because if you don’t grow, you will regress.
2. How? Let’s learn photography. Now that we’ve talked about why we should learn it, the next step is how to learn it!
We can interpret it from four aspects: 1. Everyone knows that everything is difficult at the beginning.
Taking the first step in learning is very important. When you want to learn photography, you don’t need to think so much. Just learn and shoot.
Use your mobile phone to take pictures of some scenery on the roadside. If the shots are not good, you can learn some techniques from the Internet. Nowadays, there is a lot of photography content on the Internet, but the knowledge points are relatively scattered.
2. How to persist?
I have written about the "deliberate practice" of learning photography in a previous article. For example, we insist on taking pictures for thirty minutes every day. We can take pictures of flowers and plants on the roadside or some cultural scenery on the way home.
Long-term persistence will make your photography skills more sophisticated. It is recommended to learn photography knowledge systematically and comprehensively, because persistence must find the right direction. Just shooting randomly every day will not help you master photography, and it will get closer to our goal.
Travel further and further.
3. Thinking, we must think about how to take better pictures?
For example, if we take a picture of a flower, should we shoot it from above or from above? By thinking and trying different methods, the photos taken may be very different.
4. After improving our thinking, we must make improvements. Just thinking will definitely not work and will fall into a fantasy situation. We can only verify the direction of thinking through practice, right?
If it’s not right, you need to think from a different angle, combine thinking with action, and take another step towards becoming a photography master!
3. Achieve? What goal should you achieve by learning photography?
I divide it into three categories, that is, understanding, learning, and doing well.
1. How to understand if you can understand?
This requires us to master the basic knowledge and principles of photography. Only with a solid foundation can we master advanced knowledge faster and better.
If you learn advanced knowledge all at once, how will you be able to understand it? Don’t aim too high.
Similarly, after we master some technologies, we can look back at the past knowledge and gain new insights through analogies. This is what "reviewing the past and learning the new" means.
Of course, the content of teaching photography knowledge must also be easy to understand.
2. Learn it well. If we can understand it, we must learn it well.
Understanding does not mean learning. Between the two, we must practice. If we encounter some problems during practice, we can consult the lecturer and look up the information.
If you want to learn well, most online photography courses can be followed step by step. However, there are also disadvantages. You cannot draw inferences from one example when shooting.
3. Do it well. For example, if we are doing a commercial shoot, producing a film in 3 hours is not the same as producing a film in 3 days, and the cost and income are not directly proportional.
That’s why it’s important that we do it well!
To achieve this, online learning alone is not reliable, but also requires offline learning with teachers.
On-site communication and further study are very rare and very necessary.
4. Where? Now that the Internet is developed, you can learn photography anywhere. The most important thing is to find a reliable learning platform.
The content on the Internet is relatively scattered, and the knowledge is often not comprehensive. You can search when you encounter photography problems.
Of course, if you want to learn a systematic, comprehensive and easy-to-understand course and communicate with fellow photographers, it is recommended to study at the Photography Reading Club.
