White lotus root is the top specialty product in Mata Lake.
There are nearly 4,000 acres of lotus root fields in the whole lake. White lotus root is planted after the spring warms up and is grown in June and July. The lotus root at this time is commonly known as new lotus root by local people. It is as white as jade, fresh, tender, sweet and crisp.
2. Broken eel.
Place a larger live eel on the ground and let it tumble vigorously to remove the mucus on its body surface. Then use an iron cone to penetrate the fish head and insert it into the ground to fix the fish.
