Legend has it that Yulong and Jinfeng, who were married in heaven, found a piece of jade on Xiandao near the Milky Way. After years of polishing, it has become a pearl with magical power. The luster of pearls can form an oasis for flowers to bloom.
When the heavenly queen found out, she sent heavenly soldiers to rob pearls. In the process of struggle, the pearl fell to the ground and became a beautiful West Lake. This magical legend makes the beauty of the West Lake even more mysterious.

The story of the West Lake
1, White Snake and Xu Xian
In The Legend of the White Snake, one of the four classical legends in China, Xu Xian and the White Snake Empress met here and returned to the city in the same boat. Later, we met here again and made up again. It was interpreted as "Meet at the Broken Bridge", which is a passbook drama with many plays as reserved plays.
The legend of White Snake was mature and popular in Qing Dynasty, and it was a model of China folk collective creation. This paper describes a tortuous love story between a snake spirit who cultivates human form and human beings. Stories include the story of Wupeng boat borrowing an umbrella, the story of White Snake stealing Ganoderma lucidum, the story of flooding Jinshan, the story of broken bridge, the story of Leifeng Tower, the story of Xu Xian Shilin sacrificing the son of the tower, and the story of Fahai escaping from the crab's stomach.
2. Xialongwei
There is a place called Xialongwei in Sandun. Some people think that this "dragon" is misspelled, and it should be "cage", saying that there are only lobsters and no shrimp dragons. That "shrimp cage" is a bamboo cage for catching river shrimp. Every family in this area used to weave shrimp cages. Actually, both names are correct. What the hell is going on here?
Legend has it that Zhu Yuanzhang went to Longxu Village under Sandun one day in the south of the Yangtze River. Counselor Liu Bowen looked around and couldn't help but sigh: "It's a treasure trove of feng shui!" However, after learning that the village was named "Xialongwei", he worried that the people had not been appeased, but would be disturbed by thieves. Zhu Yuanzhang ordered a river to be dug in the village, nominally to eliminate the flood, which meant to cut off the back road of Wang Long.
He also ordered the construction of two stone bridges on the east and west sides of the river pier in the second village, one in the west is called Wenxing Bridge, and the other in the east is called Wuxing Bridge, which completely broke the feng shui.
When the bridge is built, Liu Bowen looks pale. Shrimp dragon is the dragon of shrimp, also called "lobster". "Lobster" will swim along the river, then the emperor's "dragon position" will be gone. So he asked the villagers to cut down the bamboo, chop it into bamboo shreds, weave it into a gourd-shaped cage, put some wheat bran as bait in the cage and try it in the river. Sure enough, the shrimps are very helpless.
3. Jinlian Temple
One morning in the Ming Dynasty, a Taoist figure was waiting for a sedan chair at the dock near the Hang Cheng Canal, ready to hit the road. Just then, two bearers carried a sedan chair to the sky. The man who looked like a Taoist waved the sedan chair to stop, advised the two bearers to go on the road first, then bargained and said that they would not be mistreated, and then left the dock.
They crossed Songyuanyuan, Xixi Huawu, and then crossed Muwu from the west and east, all the way to Daling of Shili Hengshan. After a rest, the bearers continued on their way, pointing to the mountain road on the right for the bearers to carry up. The sedan chair bearer walked on the steep mountain road for nearly two hours, but it was very easy to lift, just like walking on the ground. In this way, it was carried to the top of the mountain and stopped in front of a temple. The Taoist entered the temple.
They didn't see the Taoist priest come out for a long time, so they went into the house and asked for money. Strangely, there was no one in the temple, but I saw a statue sitting in front of the main hall, holding a sword and imposing. The two bearers had to admit that they were unlucky and went out of the temple to prepare to go down the mountain. Just as they walked to the front of the car, they saw two red envelopes on the chair and found that there was more money in them than they expected 10 times.
In addition, this temple is Zhenwu Temple, and the statue in the temple is Zhenwu Sheng Di. This time, Bodhisattva Sheng Di became a mortal and returned to his hometown from Wudang Mountain. It is widely rumored among the people that this Bodhisattva is very effective and responsive, so there are many pilgrims and worshippers in old Jiao Shan. Later, a group of believers were afraid that the mountain road was far from convenient to worship, and planned to invite Bodhisattva to worship near Longmenkan Village.
As a result, I stopped at the top of the hill in old Jiao Shan and couldn't get up. So people built temples on the spot. Since then, Zhenwu Temple in old Jiao Shan has moved to the mountain near Longmenkan.
