. In the real world, Remy is a painting conservation clerk. He is shy, cautious and unremarkable. He and his wife, Lucille, have two lovely children and live a seemingly happy life. In another time and space, the people of primitive tribes are praying to God to give them a savior to get rid of the oppression of the cannibal ruler giant Zotan.

Forgetting to turn off the tap, Remy's studio turned into a Wang Yang. Just as he was rescuing the oil painting, he was suddenly sucked into the water. When he struggled out of the water, he suddenly found himself in a strange world, where virgin forests were everywhere and people covered themselves with animal skins. Remy lost his job, but to make matters worse, his wife, Russell, asked for a divorce because she was in love with someone else. Remy, who was unlucky, came to his parents' house to seek comfort. Just as he was pouring coffee, something strange happened again. Time seemed to freeze at this moment, and he seemed to be stuck on the floor. Remy was not so lucky this time. When he arrived in another world, he was just catching up with the cannibal warriors having lunch in * * *. In order to prevent himself from becoming a delicious food on the table, he had to grease his feet and run away.

When the insurance company refused to pay, the creditors came to the door, and Remy was overwhelmed. At this moment, he came to the primitive tribe again. This time, he was greeted by men, women and children of the whole tribe. They believed that Remy was the savior-the butterfly king. In order to verify what they thought, Remy had to jump from a tall tree, but the result was disappointing. But it was not so fun to be executed if he was not the savior. Under such a threat, Remy had to submit and promised to help them get rid of the enslaved life. Under the guidance of Remy, the tribes of Jacky moved forward. On the way, they met two powerful warriors, but Remy, who had to fight alone, made people more convinced that he was the savior sent by heaven.

Remy shuttled back and forth between these two time and space, and he also bought many strategic books, including Sun Tzu's Art of War, to defend against foreign enemies. The day of the confrontation between the two armies finally came. In order to get back to the battlefield in time, Remy made various attempts in Paris, but he didn't want to go down to the battlefield where the fighting was in full swing while sleeping. Remy laid tight encirclement before dawn according to the instructions in the book, and then he went to the enemy battlefield alone to lure the enemy into the depth. When the enemy saw the archers on the high ground, it was too late to run. In an instant, the battlefield was raining down with arrows, and the enemy was scattered all the way. The giant could only escape with his left hand bare. Remy really made a surprise victory, and the voice of "Long live the king" was heard on the battlefield. Remy finally tasted the taste of pointing out the mountains and rivers, and at that time he was in high spirits, building a city-state, building bridges, and savoring the glory above ten thousand people.

In the real world, Remy is still a nobody, but he is gradually changing. He is no longer timid, but brave enough to live himself and be willing to take responsibility. Lucille also sees these changes. In another time and space, Remy was not so lucky. His people rebelled, and Remy was disheartened and wanted to leave here forever. Just then, the giant Zotan was killed. After a thrilling battle, Zotan slowly walked out of the battlefield, but he fell to the ground. The final victory still belonged to the resourceful and brave Remy.

When he said goodbye after dating a new female customer, he fell into a coma unexpectedly. His whole family came to the emergency room, and at the end of the corridor, there were Remy's wife and a female customer who had a deep affection for Remy. Remy finally came to his senses. He went to his wife. Just when Lucile thought they could get back together, Remy told him that they couldn't go to second time around. Lucile couldn't help but leave sadly. A month later, on the beach in Barcelona, Russell took the children on vacation, and Remy suddenly appeared. The people who loved each other never separated.
