Please recommend a route and give me a budget!
First of all, let’s talk about what fun places there are in Sabah, such as the mirage-like floating mosque, mangroves, fireflies and proboscis monkeys, as well as Mermaid Island to look for blue tears, watching the most beautiful sunset on Tanjung Road in Kota Kinabalu, and going deep into Asia’s highest peak, Mount Sacred Mountain
Kailash Park, etc.
Sabah is not big, and there are not many fun and interesting attractions, so 5-6 days in Sabah is enough. As for budget, it depends on personal choice. Normally, the local cost of 5,000 yuan is basically no problem, and if you sign up for a group tour, it will only cost more than 4,000.
, when I went there before, I went with Wind Vane Travel, and the group price was about 4,600 yuan. This year they seem to have launched a more favorable deal. I heard from the previous tour leader that now it is only 4,580 yuan for two people to form an independent group.
If you are interested, you can check out the weather vane travel website.
Speaking of itinerary, I recommend this itinerary to you.
On the first day of departure from China, it is recommended to fly directly from Guangzhou to Sabah. The air tickets are cheap, haha.
Reference flight?: CZ8483? CANBKI? 2305 0231 (Guangzhou-Sabah) flies to Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah, in a few hours.
What comes into view after exiting customs is the warm smiles and friendly attitudes of the local people, which is a beautiful prelude to this journey... and then check into the hotel to rest.
The next day’s tour started, including the Floating Mosque - Mangrove Sunset Cruise - Proboscis Monkeys - Fireflies. After breakfast, we followed the leader of the weathervane to the HNA landmark in Kota Kinabalu city - Atkinson Clock Tower, and the Kota Kinabalu city coordinates - Sabah Foundation Building.
Mirage - Mosque on the water.
The mosque is located on the shore of Likas Bay. It is a typical contemporary Islamic building. It was built on the man-made lake of Likas Bay. It feels as if it is floating on the water, so it is known as the "water mosque". My friends in our group
Put on Islamic clothes and go in to visit and take photos.
PS: I heard that the Floating Mosque will be temporarily closed for in-person visits in June 2018 for some reason. If it is not open for in-person visits when you go, you can only take a look at the appearance, but the appearance is also very beautiful.
After lunch, go to the mangrove for a date with proboscis monkeys and fireflies.
Follow the leader of the weather vane and enter the swamp mangrove, the most popular ecological rainforest area.
Take a safe long-tail boat to shuttle among the mangroves, passing through wetlands, swamps, and jungles along the way, and fully experience another kind of chaotic and orderly natural ecology in this intricate environment.
Fortunately, during our cruise, it happened to be the best time for the proboscis monkeys to gather at the mangrove riverside for dinner, and then we quickly raised our cameras to take pictures.
For dinner, we enjoyed a delicious riverside buffet dinner in the mangrove forest. Although it was simple, the harmonious atmosphere was unforgettable.
On the third day, a paradise for snorkeling enthusiasts, Mermaid Island - Watch the sunset at Tanjung Aru. Find the most romantic "blue tears" at Mermaid Island, a holy diving place.
Mermaid Island is actually called Mantanani Island. It was named after two wild manatees that once lived in the nearby waters, which are also commonly known as the "mermaids" of Mermaid Island.
The white sandy beach and crystal clear water are simply a paradise isolated from the rest of the world!
"After the snorkeling tour was over, the leader of Weathervane Travel took us back to Tanjong Aru to watch the sunset. The sunset at Tanjong Aru Beach is one of the top ten most beautiful sunset locations in the world. It is only a 15-minute drive from the center of Kota Kinabalu
, is an excellent viewing spot to enjoy the sea breeze and watch the sunset. On the fourth day, we explored the Kinabalu Park. After breakfast, we enjoyed the beautiful suburban scenery, vegetable gardens, and roadside stalls along the way.
After your destination, you will walk uphill through the Borneo rainforest. The high canopy walkway will give you the feeling of returning to nature. Hearing the chirping of birds and insects will definitely relieve the stress of tense city life.
Enjoy the sulfur-rich water bath. Cow pasture, watch the local docile cattle roaming in the wilderness grassland, feel leisurely, children can touch the baby cows and appreciate the elegance of the highest peak in Southeast Asia and the various tropical climates.
The exotic flowers and plants are enough for you to feast your eyes on, and the endless fun of the treetop suspension bridge and the cow pasture will make you extremely happy. PS: On the way to the Kinabalu Park, you pass by the Nabalu Naba Road Fruit Market, where you can buy local fruits, which are particularly delicious.
After a five-day trip to a country in Sabah, of course you can’t miss the local specialties and brand specials, haha. So, some friends went to see the scenery, and my friends and I went to the IMAGE mall to buy big brands.
cosmetics, souvenirs, etc. Then, after we were tired of shopping, we went to enjoy a delicious meal together. It is said that this is the most popular restaurant in Sabah.
Local delicacies are essential for us foodies. It is no exaggeration to say that Welcome Seafood is the most popular seafood restaurant in Kota Kinabalu. Many people stay in Kota Kinabalu for a few nights and come here to eat every night.
Daqielai. Features: fresh, cheap, only open from afternoon to evening.
How much does it cost to eat?
