Huangjuetuo Yangtze River Bridge is the throat project of Chongqing Expressway No.8 tie line, an important node project of Chongqing-Changchun Expressway double-track tie line project, and an important traffic trunk road connecting Nanan Danzishi area and Jiangbei Tangjiatuo area. It starts from Haiteng Interchange in Jiangbei District, crosses the Yangtze River to the west, and ends at Nanqiaotou Interchange of Dafosi Expressway in Inner Ring, with a total length of 4.3 kilometers. This is a steel truss suspension bridge for both railway and highway.
The upper bridge of the bridge is a two-way six-lane urban expressway, and the center of the lower bridge is reserved for the planned rail transit phase III line 18, with two-way four-lane urban trunk roads and sidewalks on both sides.
