The geographical location of Hefei
Hefei is located in the middle of Anhui Province, between the Yangtze River and Huaihe River, in the hilly area of eastern China. South of the Jianghuai watershed, on the north bank of Chaohu Lake, the He Fei River flows. Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, is the political, economic, scientific, educational and cultural center and transportation hub of the province. Hefei has a long history, with a history of more than 2,200 years since Qin County was established. Because it connects the Central Plains to the north and Jiangnan to the south.
Hefei has a total area of 7,266 square kilometers, and governs Changfeng County, Feidong County, Feixi County, Yaohai District, Luyang District, Shushan District and Baohe District, with a total population of 4.48 million.
