Chuning Intercity Railway:

Chuzhou is planning an intercity railway from Chuzhou to Nanjing. After the completion of the track, it only takes 10 minutes from Chuzhou to Nanjing Jiangbei area. According to the staff of Chuzhou Planning Bureau, the starting point of reserved Chuning intercity rail passage is located at Chuzhou Railway Station. The project will be built in two phases. The first phase will start from Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, pass through three cities and Chahe River, enter Nanjing area, and connect with Nanjing subway, with a total length of 27.8 kilometers. The second phase of the project has been completed from Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway to Chuzhou railway station. It is reported that the design speed of intercity rail will reach 200 km/h, and it is estimated that it will take 10 minutes from Chuzhou to Nanjing after completion.
