Yan Shu 25, a new edible variety with high quality, high yield and disease resistance, was bred by Yantai Academy of Agricultural Sciences by hybridization technology. It passed the national appraisal and the approval of Shandong Province on March 20 12. Yan Shu 25 belongs to fresh sweet potato, with an average yield of about 3500 kg per mu. It tastes delicious and sweet, and baked potatoes are the best.

2. Sushu No.8

Sushu 8 was bred by Nanjing Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Jiangsu Province. It is an edible variety with red skin and red hearts, which is bred by conventional breeding with Sushu No.4 as female parent and Sushu 1 as male parent. Sushu No.8 has smooth skin, purple color, orange flesh, tender meat and sweet taste. The output of fresh potatoes is more than 5000 Jin.
