Originally I had no plans to go to Dali.

After a little hesitation, I decided to go with her.

So, I hurriedly booked a round-trip ticket and started this casual trip.

Transfer to Dianchi Lake and sing all the way to Dali. On October 4th, I stood at the airport with my ticket in hand waiting for takeoff. Looking at the planes whizzing by to the south, I knew that this time I was finally going to that beautiful place.

We booked a flight that took off at 8pm and arrived in Kunming at 11:10pm. The outbound trip plus fuel cost was ￥530. We bought a discounted ticket from Donghai Airlines.

Because it was the Mid-Autumn Festival that day, in addition to providing dinner, each passenger was also given a small moon cake, which was delicious and heart-warming.

When we walked out of the airport at 11pm, the village chief was already waiting for us at the exit.

He ran over from afar to pick up our luggage and went straight to the parking level on the third underground floor, where he planned to stay at their company's apartment in Kunming that night.

We arrived at our accommodation 40 minutes later. It was already past 12 o'clock at night. Since we still had to drive for 5 hours to reach Dali the next day, we hurriedly washed up and went to bed without reminiscing, waiting for the wonderful journey to Dali the next day.

After washing up and going out to have breakfast, the first meal was Yunnan rice noodles.

It's spicy, but very enjoyable. It's completely different from the rice noodles in the north, and we found that prices in Yunnan are so low!

A full bowl of delicious braised pork rice noodles only costs 7 yuan. Compared with the "off-brand" rice noodles in the north that are not delicious but cost 10 or 20 yuan a bowl, it is simply too conscientious.

After dinner, we bought water to drink on the way, and officially got on the expressway to Dali at about 9:30~. This is how the pleasant trip to Dali began.

A neighbor of the Bai ethnic group was happy to move into a new house. The luckiest thing about this trip to Dali was the day we arrived, because the small villa we rented on Muniao Rental was in the village of Dali Ancient Town. It happened to be a happy time for a neighbor from the Bai ethnic group to be happy to move into his house.

The custom here is that whenever someone in the village renovates their house, they will choose a day to have a lively day from dawn, and invite the whole village to come and have a flowing banquet.

According to the owner of the house, the so-called running water banquet means that the whole village has to go, but the format is to eat one group and leave before preparing to entertain the next group, and they eat like this for a whole afternoon.

It was 2 o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived in Dali. Because the long-distance drive was too long, we took a two-hour break. The enthusiastic owner arranged for us to have the third batch at 4 o'clock.

Speaking of which, let me first introduce the small villa we booked on Mudiao Short-term Rental. It has one and two floors and can accommodate 11 people. The 7 of us were not fully occupied, so it is very spacious and more importantly, it is really comfortable.

Let's get back to business, we got up on time at 4 o'clock in the afternoon and went to our neighbor's house for dinner.

As soon as we went out, the enthusiastic owner of the house greeted us when he saw us and arranged us at the middle table. The courtyard was full of locals eating, and it was as lively as if we were having a wedding at home.

Seeing everyone greeting us warmly when we came, I was really happy and had a different feeling.
