tianmashan, Xiamen is located in hou xi zhen, jimei district.
This mountain is famous for having a crematorium on it. There are Jimei Campus of Xiamen Institute of Technology, Huaxia College and Xiamen Industrial and Commercial Tourism School beside the mountain. The new railway station under construction in Xiamen is near this mountain. Haixiang Avenue, which connects all districts outside the island, will also pass through the mountains. Tianmashan Tunnel was completed on May 9, 28.
tianmashan and Jimei people embrace each other and are linked by fate. According to records, in the early 192s, when Mr. Chen Jiageng planned to build Jimei Agricultural School at the foot of tianmashan and Meiren Mountain, he commented: "Jimei faces the sea, followed by three mountains (tianmashan, Damao Mountain and Meiren Mountain) and three islands (Jinmen Island, Xiamen Island and Gulangyu Island)". Before 197s, tianmashan silently supplied fuel for the livelihood of thousands of households in Jimei. In the middle and late 198s, Xiamen crematorium moved to tianmashan to build a permanent Chinese cemetery. After the reform and opening-up, Jimei's first 1-square-kilometer industrial zone was located in the south of tianmashan, with six villages in Fuze. Tianmashan's resources are therefore precious, and its history is thus more profound.
