Zhuoshui ancient town is a famous scenic tourist town in Chongqing. The scenic spots are introduced as follows:

Zhuoshui Ancient Town, located in the southeast corner of Zhuoshui Town in the south of Qianjiang District, Chongqing, is located on the bank of Apeng River, the main tributary of Wujiang River and the largest east-west river in China. It is 26km away from the main urban area of Qianjiang in the south and 2 1 km away from Apengjiang Town in the north. 26 kilometers from Bai Zhou Airport.

On the whole, the streets and lanes of the ancient town of Zhuoshui are in the pattern of "five streets, seven lanes, three palaces and seven courtyards". "Five Streets" are distributed in the north and south. From south to north, they are Banbian Street, Jiangxi Street, Zhongjie Street, Laoyanxing Street and Lijia Old Street. The "Seven Alleys" are all east-west, namely, drunken fragrance, water fragrance, Wang Jiaxiang, Wantiangong Lane, Dyeing House, Yujiaxiang Lane and Tan Jia Lane.

From south to north, the "three palaces" are Wantong Palace, Yu Palace and Wanshou Palace. The "seven hospitals" are distributed along the street. Development history of Zhuoshui ancient town

In the 13th year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1735), Geng went to Youyang to "change the soil and return to the stream", and the propaganda and comfort department of Youyang was changed to Youyang County and transferred to Pengqian Hall. The market rose since then.

In the first year of Guangxu (1875), Youyang Prefecture was divided into four roads and eighteen townships, and Zhuoshui was the north three townships of the five townships of North Road.

In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), Zhuoshui was changed from Zhuohe Dam to Zhuoshui Town, belonging to the third district of Youyang County.

In the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), Zhuoshui Town was changed to Zhuoshui Town.

On July 3rd, 1952, Zhuoshui (formerly District 9, Youyang County), Lianghekou, Feng Jia, Mala Lake and Xuetangping were placed in Qianjiang County.

1953 changed its name to Zhuoshui Village.

1958 was renamed Zhuoshui Commune.

On July 30th 1985, it was renamed as Zhuoshui Town.
