Recently, some delivery workers at Meituan Nanjing Lishui Station reported that the company has been owed their wages for more than a month. In total, more than 30 delivery workers and 5 business department employees have been owed wages. Each employee is owed wages ranging from 2,000 yuan to 10,000 yuan, and the total amount of wages owed may reach hundreds of thousands of yuan.
The delivery boy said, "In such hot weather, we didn't dare to waste a minute running outside every day. We worked hard for more than a month, but in the end, we didn't get a penny of wages."
p>These delivery people said that on July 4, Meituan Nanjing Lishui Station had changed agents. However, the old agent did not settle the salary for June before the handover. After the new agency took over, it did not take over to deal with this "historical issue".
On July 26, Meituan East China stated that it had contacted Nanjing Yichao Catering Distribution Co., Ltd., the “old agent” in Lishui District, Nanjing, as soon as possible. At present, the delivery company has promised to settle the wages of delivery workers within 8 working days.
I hope this matter can be resolved soon and the delivery workers can get their due wages.
