At the age of 15, he studied under a teacher and started working as an old student. Later, he became a junior student and sang southern tunes. He was a "southern" artist.

Because "Huang" was mistaken for "Wang" in the writing on the poster, and the meaning of "Everlasting Spring" was taken, the stage name was "Wang Yongchun".
