◇In 1993, the self-developed hepatitis C enzyme immunoassay diagnostic kit was successfully developed, and was among the first batch to obtain trial production approval number in China. All indicators met or exceeded national standards.

The hepatitis B enzyme immunoassay diagnostic reagent won five excellent awards in the national quality evaluation (only two companies in the country).

◇In 1994, the self-developed HIV antibody enzyme immunoassay diagnostic kit was successfully developed, passed the appraisal by the National New Drug Review Expert Committee, and obtained the first batch of official production approval numbers from the Ministry of Health.

Hepatitis E enzyme-free diagnostic reagent was successfully developed.

◇1995-1996 Developed and produced more than 60 varieties of PCR series products by itself, completing the commercialization and industrialization of PCR technology.

The successful development of immunohistochemistry reagents filled the domestic gap and ended the situation of complete dependence on imports of this product.

The successful development of the health food Metonin marked the beginning of the company's future strategic expansion.

◇In 1997, the company moved to the new address of Luoyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone.

It produces more than 300 varieties of products, of which more than 70 products are exported to the United States, Germany, Canada, Australia, Egypt, South Africa, Singapore and other countries.

◇In 1998, the company's Zhengzhou production and R&D base was established.

It is the first company in China to launch new products such as third-generation sample-added color-changing hepatitis C detection kits, chemiluminescence series detection kits, hybrid PCR diagnostic kits and 4CPCR diagnostic kits.

The tuberculosis PCR diagnostic kit received domestic production approval number and new drug certificate.

◇In 1999, the 4C PCR detection kit, hybrid PCR detection kit and molecular biology reagents developed and produced by the company won the gold medal and silver medal respectively at the 10th Henan Province Invention Exhibition.

◇In 1999, Director Lu Dahan of the National Department of Science and Technology Personnel led a 15-member science and technology diplomacy tour group stationed in 12 countries including Germany, France, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Russia, and Japan to manage the Luoyang Municipal Government and Luoyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone.

Relevant leaders from the committee and other departments came to Huamei Bioengineering Company for an inspection.

◇In 2000, Professor Zhao Yufen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, deputy dean of the Institute of Life Sciences and Engineering of Tsinghua University, and director of the Key Laboratory of Organophosphorus Chemistry of the Ministry of Education of the Department of Chemistry of Tsinghua University, led a delegation to visit Huamei Bioengineering Company for inspection and research.

Through the inspection, Academician Zhao believes that Huamei Company is the company with the highest degree of industrialization in the fields of bioengineering and genetic engineering in my country and the only company that can compete with foreign companies. Its existence has important strategic and security significance for my country's life sciences.

◇In July 2002, the multinational investment company Bona Group Limited successfully acquired the equity of the American company Promega in Huamei and became the new shareholder of Huamei Bioengineering Company.

◇In 2009, Beijing Modu International Investment Co., Ltd. successfully acquired Huamei Biotechnology with wholly-owned capital, and completed the wholly-owned acquisition of the Zhengzhou production base (Henan Huamei Bioengineering Co., Ltd.).
