On the evening of 201165438+10/2, a small but grand dinner was held in Shenzhen Sunshine Hotel. Norell Robertson, a wine master, was invited as the special guest of the day. The old friend of China winemaker explained his views on wine with all his wine colleagues and professional sommeliers, shared his personal wine stories and even expressed his enthusiasm and love for Spanish fire pits.

For the wine industry, Master of Wine (MW) is no stranger, but for outsiders, the title of Master is not clear, but I don't know why.

The title of wine master /MW is not only an abbreviation marked on the suffix of wine professionals' names, but also a supreme honor and affirmation for wine professionals, which can be described as the highest title in the wine industry. There are only 395 wine masters who have won this honor in the world today, and Mr. Norray Robertson is one of them. But at the same time, Norray has a more special identity: the only professional winemaker among wine masters, the only wine master who works and lives in Spain today, once served in the "Wine Masters Examination Committee" and served as a brewing and production proposition for four years.

The dinner was hosted by Xiao Shiwei, Secretary General of ISC of the International Sommelier (Shenzhen) Club. First of all, I would like to invite Mr. Mi Jingyuan, Chairman of ISC, to make an opening speech in English and welcome all the guests. Subsequently, Mr. Ling Chunming, the national first-class sommelier and chairman of Xi Zhong Liquor Industry, chipped in to introduce Mr. Norrath's experience.

In 20 14, Mr. Ling and Master Norray became friends with similar ideas because of their special liking for wine. Norray also attended the dinner at the invitation of Mr. Ling Chunming. Through the introduction of Mr. Ling Chunming, we all know that wine master Norray Robertson is Scottish. He joined the wine industry after receiving a master's degree in politics and international relations from Aberdeen University, ranked fifth in the UK. I started from wine sales, purchasing and product development, studied in wine cellar, and worked in wine producing areas in Italy, France, Portugal, Australia and Chile. After passing the exam in 2000, I was awarded the title of Master of Wine/Microwave.

Mr. Norray Robertson brought an informal "master class" to all the guests present, not for teaching, but for communication and sharing, with Mr. Wang Qing as the translator throughout. Originally scheduled for 30 minutes, Norray spoke for nearly 60 minutes. Regardless of the fatigue of day work, he touched everyone at the scene with dedication and enthusiasm. And after the speech, I actively answered your questions, knowing everything, and let the guests feel the approachability and affability of the master.

In addition to Mr. Norray, Mr. Joaquin Pascal, general manager of Aneku Asia Pacific (he is also a professional winemaker) and Mr. Bruno, sales manager of Aneku Asia Pacific, also came to participate in our activities. Among the guests that night, Ms. Qian sponsored a Spanish Iberian ham as a side dish of the hot pot restaurant. Mr. Norray personally opened the dinner as a guest of the "Opening Show".

There were seven kinds of wine on the wine list that night. Except for the 20 15 Wingate Wittmann Riesling Guslintroken provided by Mr. Deng Xi, a senior sommelier, as an aperitif, the other six wines were brewed by the master himself. With wine as a side dish, the dinner begins at 18:40, and officially begins.

In 2002-2003, Mr Norray Robertson studied grape cultivation and brewing at Lincoln University, New Zealand, and obtained a master's degree, and graduated with honors. At the end of 2003, he moved to Spain and worked as a winemaker in an international wine service. There, he quickly fell in love with Gihenna, an ancient vine in Calatayud, and decided to brew his own wine. His love and enthusiasm for fire pits have been completely integrated into all his drinks, and it is also his lifelong pursuit and desire to brew the best and most unique fire pits in the world.

The six master wines on the scene are: Mengda dry red wine (Lamurta) 20 14, No.1 master red wine (three-in-one) 20 13, N 'Souster Reyes 20 13, and Dos Dos de Frente 2065438+. Unfiltered El Puno(20 10) and cups and rings (20 15).

In his speech, the master mentioned his unique views on the fire pit. When the whole world is keen on using oak barrels and ignores the wine itself, Mr. Noelle hopes to brew the purest wine that can best show the original flavor of the fire pit in the purest way. Therefore, it is a unique way for the master to brew a fire pit by using a small amount of oak or not using oak at all. At the same time, some wines are brewed by the "ancient method": cooked in underground cement tanks, sealed with resin and aged in oak barrels. This series of actions have proved Mr. Noelle's initial intention of pursuing the purest, most natural and original wine and his professional attitude of sticking to his own ideas. Follow the crowd and follow blindly, isn't it the most worthy quality for pioneers in various industries today?

During the dinner, Mr. Norray led everyone to evaluate six wines one by one on the spot. From the color observation, smell, taste and the whole, he not only told the story of each grape wine, but also expressed the unique feeling of each wine, which benefited you a lot.

On such a night belonging to the fire pit, the blooming of wine juice in the cup makes the fire pit more dazzling and charming. While the whole world is avoiding brewing wine in a single pit of fire, the wine master Norray Robertson is still in Spain, insisting on brewing the purest wine with the unique flavor shown in the pit of fire of old vines, and he is working tirelessly. The "best supporting actor" variety in this wine can easily become the world wine star after making full use of its advantages and avoiding its disadvantages.
