Tengchong is a very beautiful place. Heshun Town is the cultural center of Tengchong, and Fengshan is the place of hope for Tengchong. Laifeng Mountain is not high. Geologically speaking, it is a typical volcano with a rounded top and no peaks. Tengchong has a rich cultural atmosphere, and a copy of "The Book of Telling the Mountain" is full of righteousness and comes to life on the page. In order to maintain cultural traditions, people built Laifeng Pagoda on the top of the mountain, also known as Beacon Hill. Climbing up the stairs to the top of the mountain, there were no tall trees along the way. Beside the road, the tomb of the aunt and wife of the border defense governor quietly tells the loneliness of border defense; the remains of Japanese bombs on the top of Laifeng Mountain hint at the brutality of the Japanese army and that tragic history. Climb down the stairs to the Memorial Cemetery and witness the tragic history again.
Today's Laifeng Mountain is quiet and full of green. The Laifeng Temple at the foot of the mountain is hidden in the green. Looking back, I hope she will always be peaceful and quiet, just like the people of Tengchong, who are obsessed with the coolness of jade, the tranquility of the mountains and rivers, and the profound culture.
