When it comes to Nanjing, the most famous snack street is probably Confucius Temple. However, there is a widespread saying on the Internet: "Local people don't go to Confucius Temple, but go to Hunan Road." So, taking advantage of the weekend, our group and others went to Hunan Road, which is highly praised by Nanjing locals, to find out. In fact, Hunan Road is not where the snack street is. The real food street begins with an archway facing Hunan Road. The archway is written with three characters: Lion Bridge.
Hunan Road is close to Xuanwu Lake. Walk along Hunan Road from east to west, and you can reach Lion Bridge in about 1 minutes. Lion Bridge Pedestrian Street is a bit like Wujiang Road in Shanghai. In the evening, neon lights are flashing and colorful. Here is a collection of delicious snacks with different styles from all over the world, such as Korean food and Thai curry, but the biggest difference between Lion Bridge and Wujiang Road lies in the harmonious existence of snack bars and large-scale restaurants. Of course, the front of the hotel looks far less crowded than the front of the snack stand.
