Let me recommend a few: 1. Game is a local specialty and is also authentic and natural. The most typical dishes are wild boar meat, stone frog meat, and fire-roasted wild river fish.
2. Local traditional snacks. I highly recommend Zhufeng Pavilion’s ancestral Spicy Granny Tofu.
It tastes exactly like my grandma’s molded tofu when I was a kid, even more fragrant.
Then there are the smoked bamboo shoots.
The chef at Zhufeng Pavilion is definitely an expert in making smoked bamboo shoots.
Then there is the sweet potato shreds bought in a small bamboo pavilion. In one word, sweet.
That pavilion is not far from Zhufeng Pavilion.
3 Fresh wild goats and native chickens.
This is actually my favorite.
In fact, they are black goats and pheasants produced in the green mountains opposite. They eat insects and grass in the mountains, and there is absolutely no pollution.
The above are all things I have eaten at Zhufeng Pavilion in Zhouluo many times.
I believe there are few companies that can do better than theirs.
The most important thing is that the boss is enthusiastic and very down-to-earth. Whenever something delicious comes out, he will immediately recommend it to the guests. Once when we were there, someone happened to be trapped in a muntjac in the back mountain. The boss himself is a food lover and he was eating at home.
When I saw the delicious aroma, the boss brought us a big bowl. He didn’t ask for any money at the end of the check. He said it was fate that we bumped into each other and we were treated to it, haha.
There was also a colleague who went to his house in the spring and met a wild turtle. The boss directly invited me to eat with them at the table.
