Anxi has a unique natural environment and rich tea tree resources. Changkeng Township has collected more than 50 tea tree varieties, which is known as the "treasure house of improved tea tree varieties".

The six most representative famous teas in Anxi are as follows: 1. Tieguanyin: Originated in Xiping Town, Anxi, it is the best oolong tea.

Its ropes are tight and heavy, the tea soup is golden and bright, the aroma is fragrant and long-lasting, and the taste is mellow and sweet. It has been rated as a national famous tea and a world famous tea.

2. Huangjingui (Huangdan): Originated in Huqiu Meizhuang Village, Anxi. It is another top-quality oolong tea with a style different from Tieguanyin. It has the unique quality of "two fragrances in the morning" and was rated as a national famous tea in 1985.

3. Benshan: Originated from Xiping Town, Anxi, it is closely related to Tieguanyin, but its growth potential and adaptability are stronger than Tieguanyin. The quality of the finished tea is similar to Tieguanyin.

4. Hairy crab: Originated from Daping Township, Anxi, it has wide adaptability, strong stress resistance, easy cultivation, high yield, tightly knotted appearance, many pekoe at the end of the young leaves, and high internal aroma, so it is favored by consumers.

5. Mei Zhan: Originated from Lutian Town, Anxi. It has wide adaptability and high yield. It can adapt to various tea types in different producing areas.

The red and green teas produced have high aroma and mellow taste; the oolong tea produced has unique aroma and excellent quality.

6. Daye Oolong: Originated from Changkeng Shanping, Anxi, it has wide adaptability, strong stress resistance, developed root system, drought and cold tolerance, strong resistance to diseases and pests, high yield, good quality, and is deeply loved by consumers.
