I'm from Taiwan Province.
At present, I have a good reputation in operating Taiwan Province snack bar in Xiamen.
Welcome to taste it sometime. ^_^
LZ initiated this question.
I wonder if I'm interested in Taiwan Province cuisine?
Let me list a few kinds first.
* Pork-dried rice (also known as pork-braised rice)
(in Taiwan Province, the taste is purest in the north, middle and south, with the longest history)
* Turkey chicken rice (the birthplace of Chiayi)
* Moth rice noodle (the time-honored snack of South Taiwan Province)
* Wanluan pig's feet (the birthplace of Pingping) Rice soup
(there is an old shop on Zuoying Avenue, Kaohsiung with the longest history, which has been open for almost 1 years
and that one has the best taste, which is the first in Taiwan Province)
* Pot-roasted series such as pot-roasted spaghetti, pot-roasted noodles with winter powder, pot-roasted noodles with oolong * eel spaghetti
(these are authentic snacks in Tainan)
* Large mixed tons (twice as large as those in the mainland).
(It has developed into many practices that are more in line with the public's taste in the south)
Because there are hundreds of snacks in Taiwan Province, I don't know when to write them one by one.
Other representative ones are (only the most famous local modern people prefer to eat).
Tainan shrimp rolls, rice cakes, fish soup, big cakes, small cakes, rice and boiled snails ...
I'm tired of writing ~_~..........
I can write a big article if I use scrapbooking like others
Many foreigners go to Taipei to play (North Taiwan Province).
Actually, all the snacks we eat are snacks handed down from South Taiwan Province.
Especially Shilin Night Market and Wanhua Night Market, two major Taipei sightseeing night markets.
Actually, there are not many snacks that really originated in the north.
LZ If you have the opportunity to go to Taiwan Province to taste snacks,
I suggest you go to Kaohsiung Liuhe Night Market.
(Go straight for about half an hour from Kaohsiung Railway Station)
Liuhe Night Market is a sightseeing night market.
