Jinjing Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Jinjiang City, Fujian Province.
Jinjing Town, affiliated to Jinjiang City, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, is located in the southeast of Jinjiang City, bordering Shenhu Town to the east, facing the sea to the south facing Kinmen Island, adjacent to Yinglin Town to the west, and Longhu Town to the north. The administrative area is 56.69
square kilometer.
As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Jinjing Town was 57,012.
During the Song Dynasty, it belonged to Quanshanli, Anren Township.
In 1984, it was restored to Jinjing Town.
As of June 2020, Jinjing Town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 20 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Jinjing Village.

Origin of historical and cultural place names: According to legend, at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, when the young emperor of the Song Dynasty was on his way to escape south, his fleet docked at Jingwei Port at the entrance of Mazu Palace.
The young emperor was thirsty, and the soldiers brought water from the well beside the palace. It was sweet and delicious. The young emperor was overjoyed and praised it as "Jinjing Sweet Spring", hence the name Jinjing.
Cultural relics and monuments: Jinjing Town has a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit, a Tang Dynasty Xiziyan cliff statue. Municipal-level cultural relics protection units include the Song Dynasty Liucongxiao Temple, the Yuan Dynasty Jinjing, the Ming Dynasty tailless pagoda, the cliff statues in the cave, and the Fuquan City cliff carvings.
