Xi has been an important place since ancient times. As the ancient capital of the 13 dynasty, the rich history and culture of more than 5,000 years have attracted tourists from all over the world to visit here. The famous Qin, Han, Sui and Tang Dynasties all established their capitals here, which is not only a famous ancient capital in China, but also one of the four ancient capitals in the world.
I believe many people come here because of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang and because of the walls of Xi. On the first day, I visited Zhang Xueliang's residence and walked on the wall of Xi 'an.
This is a casual trip, because I am used to traveling life, I don't have any strategies, and I don't buy tickets in advance. Besides, I like the Karl Honnore train. This time, I started from Wuhan to Xi 'an, and the high-speed train arrived at Xi 'an North Station. After getting off the bus, I booked a hotel near Zhu Fei, which is a flower hotel near Xi North Station. The subway station is just outside the hotel, so it is very convenient to go to Xi 'an (I didn't expect there to be a subway station here, and the hotel was chosen according to the distance nearby).
When I arrived in the north of Xi 'an, it was past ten o'clock in the evening. The lady in the hotel specially called to ask when she would arrive. She was thoughtful, so she arrived in Xi without making any preparations.
The best route: Zhang Xueliang Mansion -Xi City Wall-Wild Goose Pagoda-Tang Da 'en Ci Temple Ruins Park-Forest of Steles Museum-Shaanxi Museum-Huimin Street-Yongxing Square.

Depart from the hotel at seven o'clock in the morning, go out and take the subway to the Bell Tower Station. After getting off the subway, I rode bike-sharing for more than ten minutes, and first visited Zhang Xueliang's residence. You can visit for free with your ID card.

In February 2008, an event that shocked the world happened in the ancient capital Xi: Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng launched a protest and detained Chiang Kai-shek, forcing him to stop the civil war and unite against Japan. General Zhang Xueliang's residence is located in the middle section of Jianguo Road, xi City, Shaanxi Province, and it is one of the most important sites in the Xi Incident.

A few minutes' walk from Zhang Xueliang's residence will reach the ticket office of the city wall.
Xi city wall is a paid scenic spot. The ticket price in 54 yuan is half price for students. Total length of the city wall 13.7 km. You can walk or rent a bike to ride on the city wall. The main gates are Changle Gate, Yongning Gate, Anding Gate and Anyuan Gate in turn, and usually climb the city wall from Changle Gate.
Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda
In downtown Xi 'an, subway and Didi taxi are very convenient. It is cost-effective to take a taxi from xi City Wall to Big Wild Goose Pagoda, but it is about five kilometers. It's more convenient if you take a bus. If the weather is not hot, you can choose to walk all the way and eat, so that you can get more familiar with the city.
When you come to Xi, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a place not to be missed. It was built in the Tang Dynasty, with a square pavilion design imitating brick and wood structure. The whole tower is 64.7 meters high and has the structural design of an underground palace.
The scenery of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is very beautiful. If you want to climb up, you need 30 yuan.
Seven-story building design, in the middle of the three-story tower room, there are precious Buddhist cultural relics and models of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda on a wooden pedestal.
Tangda Jionji Ruins Park
Next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is Jionji Ruins Park. It is a small park, which is very suitable for daily walking and rest. Since I'm here, I'll pay a visit.
The next day, Xi 'an Beilin Museum.
The ticket for Beilin Museum is 75 yuan, which closes at about 5: 30 every day.
Traffic recommends Didi taxi. If you have a good sense of direction, you can walk or ride a bike. This is a better way to travel.
Xi 'an Forest of Steles was founded in A.D. 1087. It is an art treasure house for collecting ancient steles in China. More than 1000 steles and epitaphs from Han Dynasty to Qing Dynasty were exhibited.
Come out of Beilin Museum and go straight along this road. You can pass by Guanzhong Academy and go in and have a look.
Guanzhong Academy was the highest institution of learning in Shaanxi in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it was also one of the four famous academies in China.
Shaanxi Museum
Every time you go to a city, there must be a museum, because the museum is a place where you can fully understand the culture and history of a province. The Xi Museum is famous all over the country, including many national treasures.
The main building of the museum was designed by Zhang Jinqiu, a famous architect, and was rated as one of the top ten landmark buildings in Xi. Building area16000m2, exhibition area 5000m2.
Among the collection of cultural relics 130000 pieces, there are more than 4400 pieces of national first-class precious cultural relics/kloc-0, of which nearly 2000 pieces are published for the first time, showing the history and culture of the ancient capital.
Among them, the agate cup inlaid with the head of the golden beast is the treasure of the town hall.
This Tang Dynasty wine vessel was unearthed in 1970. The animal head agate cup is made of red agate, which is rare in the world. This kind of red agate with deep red and light red tones has a pale white layer in the middle, which is so magical and natural, so fresh and lovely, making this kind of red agate a rare and beautiful jade material in the world.
Yongxing Square Huimin Street
When you come to Xi 'an, you not only need to appreciate history and culture, but also can't miss Xi 'an's delicious food.
Huimin Street and Yongxing Square can be said to be places that tourists must visit.
The essential difference between Huimin Street and Yongxing Square is that the food in Huimin Street is mainly Huimin snacks, Huimin specialties and small ornaments.
