Yingtan cuisine includes corduroy cake, bean curd, steamed eggs with pickles, Shi Tian chestnut roast chicken, spicy duck head, beef bone rice, yellow robe for the king, Guixi mustard tuber, yujiang county eggplant and so on. Yingtan, a city with districts under the jurisdiction of Jiangxi Province, is famous for its "swaying in the heart of the river and dancing in the heart of the river with eagles" and is an important member of the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.
