Which villages in Beijing are “getting out of low income”?

Recently, the government has funded the relocation of low-income households, developed characteristic folk tourism industries, and developed rural cooperative enterprises... Miyun District uses various forms to assist low-income households.

Recently, I visited two low-income villages in Miyun District, Jianyan Village and Zhangquan Village. Through the government's relocation assistance, social assistance and other measures, the villagers' pockets have become bulging and their smiles have increased.

Doubling the income from building a new house as a folk custom "The old houses in the past were built with stones. When the flood season came, I was scared and worried that the house would collapse." Guo Wenfeng, who lives in Jianyan Village, Xiwengzhuang Town, Miyun District, recalled her old house to this day.

There is lingering fear in my heart.

Jianyan Village is an immigrant village that was relocated from the Miyun Reservoir in the 1950s. The stone houses built at that time were in disrepair and posed great safety risks.

In 2015, the village took advantage of the relocation policy and invested 28 million yuan, which took more than two years to upgrade all the old houses of more than 200 households in the village.

The renovated house was safe and comfortable. With the encouragement of the government, Guo Wenfeng's family developed special folk tourism.

Today, Guo Wenfeng's family has opened a folk restaurant called "Feng Xiangchun" and has set up 12 guest rooms to welcome guests from all over the world. Their income has doubled compared to when they were working as a pastry waiter in a hotel, and they can make it one year.

Earning 70,000 to 80,000 yuan, "I have prepared all the ingredients. I started cooking reservoir fish and making a chestnut feast in the afternoon. My two children also came back to help after their holidays." Guo Wenfeng said with a smile.

Jianyan Village has thousands of century-old chestnut trees. The village encourages villagers to use these natural chestnuts to make different dishes and snacks. The annual Chestnut Food Festival attracts a large number of tourists.

Jianyan Village is backed by mountains and not far from scenic spots such as Black Dragon Pond, Yunlong Stream and Dayunfeng Temple, attracting many tourists.

Wang Shuping, the first secretary of Jianyan Village, introduced that for villagers who develop folk tourism, the Municipal Tourism Committee and the District Tourism Committee regularly inspect and accept, and for families whose environment and sanitation meet certain standards, each household will be given a subsidy of 15,000 yuan. At the same time, the village also funds the purchase of round tables and round tables for villagers.

Seats and other farmhouse furniture.

According to reports, there were 284 poor households in Jianyan Village in 2017. After a year of industrial assistance and employment assistance policies, more than 200 villagers have successfully "come out of poverty", and the remaining 28 households will also "come out of poverty" as soon as possible.

6 Low-income Villages Achieve “Elevating Low-income Villages” There are many villages in Miyun District that rely on relocation and reconstruction like Jianyan Village.

Zhang Dong, deputy director of the District Agricultural Committee, said that in accordance with the government's requirements, areas threatened by floods and areas prone to landslides can enjoy the relocation policy. "Eligible villages can be included in the relocation plan as long as the villagers wish to do so."

At present, the last round of policies provides a subsidy of 60,000 yuan for each villager's infrastructure, a subsidy of 18,000 yuan for each person in terms of population, and a subsidy of 20,000 yuan for earthquake resistance and energy conservation. In addition, the National Development and Reform Commission's Beijing-Tianjin sandstorm source control project subsidizes each household 20,000 yuan.

It is reported that from 2013 to 2017, more than 3,700 villagers in Miyun District have enjoyed the relocation policy, including 6 low-income villages including Jianyan Village.

This year, 535 households in Miyun District will receive relocation assistance.

"After the houses were built, we guided the villagers to develop other industries. Some of them started folk tourism reception, and others planted small grains, black fungus, beekeeping, etc." The collective enterprise led the whole village to become rich, more than 20 kilometers west of Miyun City.

, and then walking north through a winding mountain road, the reporter came to Zhangquan Village in the north of Dachengzi Town.

Zhangquan Village, located in Qianshan District, has a small population, with only 84 households and 198 people. In the past two years, 53 households and 102 people in the village were all low-income people.

Ji Jingshu, the first secretary of the village branch, will never forget the first time he visited Zhangquan Village at the end of 2016. “Beijing’s urban area is so prosperous, but I didn’t expect there to be such a difficult mountain village in the suburbs.”

In order to change the situation of low-income villagers, a road leading to Zhangquan Village with "Eighteen Bends on the Mountain Road" was built last year, and the Mi 16 bus drove into the village.

The main road was opened, and high-end B&Bs such as "Luqi Bookstore" and "Dadi Country House" were introduced into the village. They not only provided jobs, but also boosted the sales of B&Bs and forestry and fruit industries in the village.

At present, the B&B brings a comprehensive income of about 550,000 yuan to the village.

Last year, the village collectively founded "Beijing Zhangquandakang Technology Development Co., Ltd." and launched a series of green deep-processed products under the "Zhangquandakang" brand, including honey, honey lip balm, chestnut kernels, hawthorn health tea, NFC additive-free hawthorn juice, etc.

Ji Jingshu said that the village is currently using social assistance to sell green food produced in urban areas of Beijing.

Ji Jingshu did some calculations. Villagers usually sell honey for 8.5 yuan per pound. Now they use honey and beeswax to make lipstick. One pound can make 10 pieces, and one lipstick sells for 15 yuan.
