I am a Grade 21 student of Henan University of Technology. My major is journalism and communication.
I'm actually a girl who is picky about living conditions (maybe girls are a little bit more or less). I've been together for about a year. Let's talk about my feelings.
This is a map of the school
1. Diet. There are three formal canteens. It is divided into the first, second and third restaurants, and then the first restaurant has three floors, including the Muslim canteen, and there are some small shops like barbecue milk tea outside the three meals. These three restaurants are relatively close. There is also a snack street in areas E and F, mainly because it is far away from the three restaurants. There is a fourth canteen under construction, which has been completed. As a southerner, besides not having a lot of soup to drink, it is actually not bad, with good hygiene and a lot of food. (It's also important to say that the canteen is closed for a very serious school in Henan, and basically I haven't been out for a semester, and takeout is not allowed for a while, so how to eat in the canteen is particularly important.)

2. Then there is the accommodation problem. As far as I know, freshmen are basically sleeping for six, both boys and girls, and then sophomores may be sleeping for four, and boys will change. For example, we girls have not changed this year, and boys have changed, but each major is different, so it's hard to say. If we major in liberal arts, there must be many girls. Then there is the layout of the dormitory building, which is divided into a\b\c\d\e\f, and then the first four buildings are arranged together, which is close to the dining room and the bath center, and the second two buildings are all male dormitories, among which the F area is extremely luxurious, which seems to have 22 floors, with an elevator and a separate bathroom for four people (the reason seems to be that it is too far from the bath center for them to take a bath). Now that the bath center is mentioned, let's briefly introduce it. The first floor is for girls to take a bath, the second floor is for boys, and the third floor is a big bathhouse (but I haven't been there). The first floor and the second floor are independent cubicles, which are used to swipe the card to get out of the water. It's not dirty, but it often requires a long queue. In addition, there is a place to blow hair in the bath center (because hair dryers are not allowed in the dormitory), and there is also a plug-in row that can blow hair downstairs in the dormitory, but whether it is downstairs in the dormitory or in the bath center, you need to bring your own hair dryer. I have fallen into this pit.

3. This is the basic living situation. As a whole, the school is a new campus in the province, and the Lianhua Street campus is a new campus, and the songshan road campus recruits junior college students. There is a 1-story library in the new campus (which attracted me at first), and the hardware facilities are definitely better than those in the old campus. Besides, there is a subway station next to the west gate of the new campus, which is very convenient to travel (but the closure of Henan is really serious, so I haven't been out much). The school's ace major is grain, oil and food, and it seems that it will cook a lot of food in class, which is very enviable. What's more, the next liberal arts major, that is, the 22nd session, is located in the old campus.
that's the general situation. it depends on what major you choose. I hope I can help you ~
