The Suzhou Jinji Lake Musical Fountain was closed in June 2014 due to the start of construction of the Xinggang Street Tunnel in the park. After the construction of the Xingang Street Tunnel is completed in three years, other new landscapes may be presented to tourists and citizens.

The new musical fountain in Suzhou is now located at the Yuehu Terrace in Taihu New Town, Suzhou Bay, Wujiang. It will be open every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 19:30 to 20:00 this summer. The arc length of the musical fountain from north to south is 358 meters. The main spray can reach a maximum of 120 meters, with 16 designed water types and 1353 sprinkler heads. It adopts the most advanced domestic air explosion, full-spectrum LED lights, laser projection, fire spray and other technologies. It is more magnificent than the original Jinji Lake Music Fountain.

By bus, you can take bus No. 116 and get off at the last stop "Binhu Food City". By car, you can drive west to the bottom of Kaiping Road, Wujiang District, Suzhou City. There are more than a thousand parking spaces in the surrounding area such as marked parking spaces, Shuixiu Street temporary parking lot, and Suzhou Bay Food Xintiandi underground parking lot for citizens who come to watch.
