Bitter rose is a species of rose and a traditional Chinese rose. A natural hybrid, one of the four major rose strains in China, and a rare plateau selenium-rich rose variety in the world. In 1984, the Standing Committee of the Lanzhou Municipal People's Congress decided that the bitter water rose would be the city flower of Lanzhou.

Kushui Rose has successively obtained the origin mark registration certificate issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and the trademark registration certificate issued by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. It is an agricultural product geographical indication registration certified by the Ministry of Agriculture and a pollution-free agricultural product.

2. Gaolan Ruan'er pear?

Gaolan Ruan'er pear is a specialty of Gaolan County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, and a national geographical indication of agricultural products.

Gaolan Ruan'er pears are also called frozen pears and perfumed pears. After being picked in late autumn every year, they are saccharified and blackened by the cold winter in the northwest. 3. Anning White Phoenix Peach

Anning White Phoenix Peach is a specialty product of Anning District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, and a national geographical indication of agricultural products.

Anning District is known as the "Ten-mile Peach Township". The white peaches in the Anningbao area bloom in April every year and mature in early August. In Anningbao Street, the production of white peaches accounts for 70% of all peach varieties. Anning Baifeng peach has a delicate taste, unique flavor, soft and juicy meat, rich and sweet flavor, fragrant, sticky core, and a short market period.

On March 31, 2016, the Ministry of Agriculture of the former People’s Republic of China approved the implementation of national agricultural product geographical indication registration protection for “Anning White Phoenix Peach”.

4. Yuzhong Cauliflower

Yuzhong Cauliflower is a specialty of Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, and a national geographical indication of agricultural products.

The Yuzhong cauliflower production area is located in the Loess Plateau at the intersection of the Loess Plateau, the Inner Mongolia Plateau and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is in the middle of Gansu Province and is one of the three counties and five districts of Lanzhou City.

On September 13, 2010, the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture approved the implementation of agricultural product geographical indication registration protection for "Yuzhong Cauliflower".

5. Lanzhou Lily?

Lanzhou Lily is a specialty product of Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, and a national geographical indication product of China.

Lanzhou lily has a very sweet taste, very little fiber, and no bitter taste. The lilies it produces are large in size, extremely sweet in taste, and as white as jade in color. Lanzhou lily belongs to the Shandan family and is the best among lilies. The best, the only edible sweet lily in the country.

In September 2004, the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine officially approved "Lanzhou Lily" as a protected product with a geographical origin (i.e. a protected geographical indication product).
