What is there to do in Anting Old Street?

1. Legend has it that the Bodhi Zen Temple was built by Sun Quan’s mother during the Three Kingdoms period. It was later destroyed by fire in the Qing Dynasty. The current temple was rebuilt and houses dozens of large and small Buddhas. The gold coins are brilliant and impressive.

2. Yansi Bridge was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. A pomegranate tree grew out of the stones in the bridge hole. There is a dilapidated stone tablet next to it that records that the tree is 160 years old.

3. Zhenchuan Academy When you come to Anting Town, you must visit Zhenchuan Academy. The ruins are in Anting Middle School. This is the place where the famous essayist Gui Youguang gave lectures in the late Ming Dynasty.

4. Yong'an Tower is nine stories high and can overlook the beautiful scenery of the entire Anting Ancient Town.

5. Snack Square is a food gathering place on Anting Old Street. When you are tired from walking, come here to sit and eat steaming steamed dumplings and Chaos.
