My favorite fruit-----Strawberry
Speaking of fruits, I can’t help but become happy, because I have loved eating fruits since I was a child, like watermelon, Peaches, grapes, apples, etc. Sometimes I don’t eat much, but I eat a lot of fruits every day. My parents always say that I am a beautiful daughter who grew up eating fruits.
Among the fruits I love to eat, strawberry is my favorite, because it not only matures early and can be the first to go on the market among all fruits, but it is also fresh and delicious, not too sour, light in sweetness, and sweet in sourness. Delicious and not harmful to the stomach.
In order to understand how strawberries grow, I also checked a lot of strawberry information on the Internet. From this, I learned that strawberry is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Rosaceae family, also called berry, native to South America. There are many varieties of strawberries, with more than 2,000 varieties. Strawberries like warm weather and cannot tolerate cold. Strawberries are grown in Hebei Province, Shandong Province and many southern provinces and cities in my country.
Strawberry fruit is spherical or elliptical. The ripe fruit is bright red and has a bumpy surface with many small seeds attached. When I was a child, I thought it was a lot of sesame seeds stuck on it. The fruit of strawberry is bright red and tender, soft and juicy, sweet, sour and delicious. It is rich in vitamin C. In addition, it also contains carotene, multiple vitamins, glucose, protein, fat, iron, calcium, phosphorus, etc., so some people call strawberry " "Beauty Fruit", pick up one and put it in your mouth and chew it gently. The pink juice along with the fresh pulp will give you a wonderful feeling of sweetness, sourness and coolness in your mouth. The only thing I regret is that The small seeds on the surface of the strawberry have little flavor to eat.
Whenever parents buy strawberries, as long as I have time, I will pick off the green leaves under the strawberries with my own hands. If the leaves are juicy and bright green, then the strawberries must be fresh. I I really hope I have the opportunity to go to the place where strawberries are grown and see with my own eyes how strawberries grow.
I still have many ways to eat strawberries, some of which were told to me by my parents, and some of which I invented myself. For example: wash the strawberries and cut them into four pieces with a knife, put them on a plate, and sprinkle some on them. Add a little sugar so that even underripe strawberries won't feel sour when eaten. You can also put sliced ??strawberries, cucumbers and tomatoes together, add salad dressing and mix well, and it will become a delicious fruit salad.
In short, strawberries are one of my favorite fruits. Although I have written so much, I still seem to be a little unfinished.
