This is a polymerization reaction. It mainly includes three elementary reactions, namely, chain initiation, chain growth and chain termination. Sometimes accompanied by a chain transfer reaction. According to the different active centers of the chain, it can be subdivided into four types: free radical polymerization, cationic polymerization, anionic polymerization and coordination polymerization.
